Based on the realistic characteristics of Intercropping Strips Stubble in the north region of YinShan mountain area,the paper studies on preventing erosion effect of potato bare farmland (controlling ploughed land),wheat and potato intercropping farmland whose strips width are uniform by wind tunnel . For the purpose of offerring the reference data of establishing the optimum strips breadth, the optimum overlay degree and stubble height of intercropping strips stubble; at the same time to confirm the effective range that the crop residues (conservation tillage strip)to protect the exposed zone (traditional tillage strip) in different test conditions. Finally,applied the analogical theories ,the paper vertified the reliability of the wind tunnel model simulation test by carrying through a wind tunnel model simulation test, compared with the results of the physical model simulation test.The conclusion from analysis as follows: intercropping strips stubble can lower the wind-blown mass effectively, to the tradition farming strips which takes protective effect.In a small strips breadth intercropping conditions,and when strips width of protection tillage and tradition farming are uniform, the optimum overlay degree,the optimum stubble height and strips breadth are 30%, 30 cm and 1.5 m.The effective range that the conservation tillage strip to protect the traditional tillage strip are different in different test conditions.When the overlay degree to 30 percent, the center wind velocity of 9 m / s, crop residues at the height of 30 cm, 1 m, 1.5m and 2 m strips breadth of the conservation tillage strip protection zone with the adjacent traditional tillage strip are the best, the effective protection of all for the leeward side with stubble and residue from the exposed zone at the junction of 3 / 4 exposed zone.When centre wind velocity and the stubble height are smaller, the effective range that the conservation tillage strip to protect the traditional tillage strip is smaller in different strips breadth. The result of the wind tunnel model simulation test is the same with the results of the physical model simulation test. It provides the theoretical basis for the wind tunnel model simulation research.
