Wind erosion is one of the main reasons that cause the global wide land degradation. As one form of land desertification, wind erosion seriously badgers the survival and development of human society. Experimenting with farmland at Wuchuan County, this article focuses on studying the mixing area of agriculture and animal husbandry at the northern slope of Yinshan Mountain where the wind erosion is very serious. Utilizing the removable wind tunnel and other related equipment of Inner Mongolian Agricultural University, we did in-situ test for the strip intercropping farmland which is adaptable to the local characteristic. Our research puts forward the anti-erosion effects under different farming scale. Under five different wind velocities, the decreasing rate of wind speed has a linear correlation with the increasing width of residual stubble; the near-surface roughness shows an increasingly quadratic polynomial relation with the width of residual stubble. The vertical distribution of strip intercropping field surface with stubble-left and residual deposit by wind erosion generally shows a specific"truck effect". When the vegetation coverage is 45%, 76% and 90%, respectively, in the 1cm width and the height of 0-70 cm, the largest residual deposit amount of wind erosion increases sharply with the increasing speed of wind; when the wind velocity is 9-18 m/s, the height where the largest residual deposit amount of wind erosion occurs increases with the increasing rate of vegetation coverage. When the cross section of wind tunnel is 1 cm, the height scale is 0-70 cm, the total residual amount of wind erosion decreases with the width of residual stubble, the total deposit amount of wind erosion and wind speed shows a positive relationship; When the width of residual stubble is larger than 5.2m, the level distribution of wind-erosive residual deposit amount maintains its equilibrium. The interception rate linearly decreases with the increasing rate of wind speed, increases with the increasing rate of vegetation coverage .
