The height of wheat is one of the important characters. Molecular markers for dwarfing genes have developed in the past years and have facilitated the marker assisted selection of the dwarfing genes in wheat breeding program. In this thesis, the study object were 04dan04,04dan08 .The dwarfing character of the two breed variety were stable, the height average is 53cm. After determination that these two strains for one pair of alleles. The dwarfing genes, derived from 04dan04, were mapped with SSR markers by applying a bulked segregant analysis (BSA). The results obtained are as follows:Among the molecular marker techniques used for dwarfing gene mapping, microsatellite marker has such advantages as efficiency, stability, codominance, abundance and distribution throughout the genome.Using 228 primers to amplify and screen the population,of them 7primers have been found to be polymorphismic between the DNA pool of plant height. Our results showed that BSA and microsatellitc primer screening of F2 population identified two markers, Xgdm63 and Xgdm219 ,closely linked to the gene. The linkage distance between Xgdm63 and the dwarfing gene was 11.5cM , Xgdm219 and the dwarfing gene was 6.4cM, the Xgdm63 and xgdm219 was 17.9cM.The location of the dwarfing gene and the acquisition of the molecular markers enriched the genetic map of the dwarfing gene. They also provided valuable information for our further research on the marker-assistant wheat breeding.
