This paper is about diversity and physiological function of AM fungi of Tetraena mongolica community in 6 sample sites.Mutualistic symbiosis relation is made sure between AM fungi and Tetraena mongolica.Researches also include AM fungi species of Tetraena mongolica roots and Tetraena mongolica community,relation between diversity of AM fungi and community plant.AM fungi inoculate Tetraena mongolica roots in laboratory.AM fungi affect Tetraena mongolica growth under water stress.The main conclusion is as follows:1.A mutualistic symbiosis exists between AM fungi and Tetraena mongolica.Symbiosis structure is vesicular and intracellular hypha.AM colonization of Young Tetraena mongolica is 68%.AM colonization of up five years Tetraena mongolica is 17%.2.Proportion of mycorrhizal plant is higher.39 plants are colonized by AM fungi.3.Seven species of AMF were isolated from the rhizosperic soil of Tetraena mongolica.Seven species belong to four genus.Seven species are Acaulospora sp.1,Acaul.sp.2,Diversispora etunicatum,Glomus constrictum,G.deserticola,G.mosseae and Scutellospora calospora. Acaulospora sp.1 and Acaul.sp.2 are unregistered species.4.Fourteen AMF species are isolated from total plant species of Tetraena mongolica community.14 species belong to 4 genera.4 species belong to the genus Acaulospora.2 species belong to Diversispora.7 species belong to Glomus.1 species belong to Scutellospora. Acaulospora sp.1 and Acaul.sp.2 are the dominant species of the community.G.deserticola and Acaulospora rehmii are familiar species.Scutellospora calospora is only Scutellospora genus.5.AM fungi spores are lesser in 0~10cm layer of the rhizospe-ric soil of Tetraena mongolica. AM fungi spores is abundance in two layer of 10~20cm and 20~30cm layer.Spores density and species richness of AMF have no distinct difference between 10~20cm and 20~30 layer(P>0.05). Spores density and species richness of AMF have distinct difference between 0~10cm and 10~20cm, 20~30 layer(P<0.05).AM fungi spores density have no distinct difference among Tetraena mongolica protection region,Balagong,Taositu,Wusutu(P>0.05).Their AM fungi spores density is highest.AM fungi spores density of Qianli Mountain is higher.AM fungi spores density is least in the verge of Tetraena mongolica protection region.The change tendency of AMF spore density was similar to the variety of vegetation density in six sites.Species richness of AMF has no distinct difference among Tetraena mongolica protection region,Balagong,Qianli Mountain.Comparing with Taositu,AMF species richness of these three sites has distinct difference.Comparing with the verge of Tetraena mongolica protection region.and Wusutu,AMF species richness of this three site have significantly difference(P<0.01).AMF diversity index have significant difference between Tetraena mongolica protection region,Balagong and the other sites.Species richness is high in Qinli Mountain,but diversity index is on the low side.6.Tetraena mongolica seed belong to refusal salt seed whose germination percentages gradually decreased with increasing salt concentration.7.Main leaf appearance and strong sprout period are crucial phases in laboratory cultivated conditions.In the period Tetraena mongolica need abundance nutrition,adaptive temperature and humidity;Tolerance ability of Tetraena mongolica seedling is stronger than that of main leaf appearance and strong sprout period.8.Tetraena mongolica seed germinate in the medium with different AM fungi.Survival rate of Tetraena mongolica seedling significantly improve than the control(P<0.05).Survival rate of Tetraena mongolica seedling increase by 10%in the medium commixing with Glomus mossea,by 13%in the medium commixing with soil of Tetraena mongolica roots.9.Under different water,different of AM colonization,growth,physiological indexes,growth, physiological indexes is significant between AM fungi inoculums and the control.AM colonization of Tetraena mongolica reduce significantly under water stress;seedling height and fresh weight of Tetraena mongolica increase distinctly under AM inoculums;MDA content of Tetraena mongolica decrease significantly;soluble sugar,soluble protein and praline increase distinctly;the activities of SOD,POD and CAT of Tetraena mongolica increase distinctly.Mycorriza increase tolerance of Tetraena mongolica.
