The Biluochun tea from Tai lake and Dongting lake in Shuzhou have been paid attention by its unique natural condition and high quality.With the increasing of the requirement of the market, the tea farmers require higher quality and yield of tea under conventional planting and management condition.This paper finds that the variation of chlorophyll contents of tea leaves after fertilization would effect on the time of maturation of tea. Chen Yifen et al. have studied on the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer, and make a good effect on the foodstuff crop.This paper study the prominent effects of the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer on the Biluochun tea in Shuzhou at first time.In order to enhance the quality and yield of Biluochun tea, economic benefit and ecologic benefit and society benefit, according to the characters of growth and requirement of fertilizer of tea trees, Chen et al. developed some Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer special for tea. These compound fertilizer have been used to fertilize in spring, summer and autumn. After the field experiments, this fertilizers is very effective.The studies of the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer effect on the reciprocity among the chlorophyll contents, yield and quality of tea trees were not reported until now, especially for Biluochun tea.This paper studied on the reciprocity among the chlorophyll contents, increasing yield and quality of Biluochun tea.The results revealed that the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer could enhance the chlorophyll contents of the tea leaves effectively, while reduce the a/b index of chlorophyll.There was a direct correlation between the chlorophyll contents, yield of biology, yield and quality of tea buds, and the time of germinating of tea buds.Using the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer and traditional strong compound fertilizers could effectively enhance the chlorophyll contents of tea leaves. Thereby, they also were propitious to enhance the efficiency of photosynthesis, and increased the production of photosynthesis, and enhance the biological yield, economical yield, quality and tea polyphenols contents of tea. The mean chlorophyll contents were C > A > B > D after using the compound fertilizers. The mean chlorophyll content with using compound fertilizers were significant higher than the comparison.The effect of the Urea—form aldehyde controlled release compound fertilizer is more excellent than the traditional strong compound fertilizers. The spring tea with dealt as C increase the yield significantly, and increase 40.2% in yield compared with D of not using fertilizers, and increase 17.9% in yield compared with B of conventional fertilizing.The compound fertilizer also promote the germination of tea buds, and significantly enhance the yield and quality of tea buds before Qingming. Compared with traditional compound fertilizers, using No.2 compound fertilizers, the mean chlorophyll contents was increased by 45.3%, the yield of tea leaves was increased by 17.9%, the net yield wad increased by 20.78%.
