Selection of 36 healthy Small-tail-Han sheep and Tan Sheep respectively, kept under the same conditions ,and nine of them similar weight slaughtered were selected at the age of 80 days, 120 days, 160 days and 200 days to comparatively study the trends in the growth and development of the digestive organs in Tan sheep and Small-tail sheep respectively. The results were in the following:1,lamb stomach absolute weight gain, the two varieties of comparison, the absolute weight of Small-tail Han Sheep stomach is always bigger than Tan Sheep; Rumen absolute weight gain, Small-tail Han Sheep rumen by 160 days weight gain significantly (P<0.01) and Tan Sheep rumen by the 120-day weight gain significantly (P<0.01); Reticulum, weight gain of Tan Sheep and Small-tail Han Sheep both obviously in 160 days(P<0.01); The research of omasum, Small-tail Han Sheep stomach from the flap 32.30g weight gain to 80.07g, Tan Sheep's stomach valve from 16.20 to 55.82g weight gain, weight gain are very rapidly (P<0.01). Abomasum weight gain of the two varieties are significantly when 160 days old (P<0.01).2,lamb stomach relative weight gain, the ratio of rumen and rennet stomach to complex stomach of the two species showed a downward trend, but the decline of Small-tail Han Sheep rumen of 200 days was reduced significantly (P<0.05), and Tan Sheep 120 days in the rennet was reduced significantly (P<0.05); The Reticulum and the omasum of the complex ratio of the two species showed a rising trend. 80 ~ 200-day-old lamb stomach for weight changes, the proportion of Small-tail Han Sheep there is a downward trend, in 200 days significantly (P<0.05), and Tan Sheep changes in the proportion of non-significant difference (P>0.05).3,the contents of the rumen pH value, Small-tail Han Sheep is less than Tan Sheep(P>0.05), and changes in the scope of Small-tail Han Sheep is 6.26 to 6.66 and Tan Sheep changes in the range of 6.29 to 7.02; Rumen NH3-N concentration, before the 120-day-old, Tan Sheep bigger than Small-tail Han Sheep and the difference was significant (P<0.05), after 120 days, the two species differences was not significant (P>0.05). Tan Sheep and Small-tail Han Sheep rumen microbial activity changes show that cellulase in a relatively stable level, the two varieties did not change significantly (P>0.05); In the rumen the other microorganisms activities of digestive enzymes, in the pilot 80~160 days early stage, Small-tail Han Sheep were larger than the Tan Sheep, in trial late, with the exception of pepsin activity of the two species, there was no significant difference (P>0.05), the amylase and lipase activity, both Small-tail Han Sheep is less than Tan Sheep (P<0.01).4,The pH value of rennet content, Small-tail Han Sheep bigger than Tan Sheep (P>0.05), the majority pH of Tan Sheep between 2.58 ~ 2.89, the pH value of small-tail Han Sheep in 80 days at 3.86, followed to above 2.87 and stabilized; stomach contents of pepsin, between 80 to 160 days, Tan Sheep's value is more than Small-tail Han Sheep and have very significant differences (P<0.01), but in 200 days, The difference between the two species was not significant (P>0.05).
