Chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) named Capsicum annuum, Solanaceae, were planted in 60 countries and areas in the world, the total yield is about 24.4 millon ton per year (the stat. information from U.N). At present, chilli pepper were planted in the world about two thirds, the area of chilli pepper in China is about two thirds of the world, the area and yield of Chilli pepper in shaanxi is on the top in China. Continuous cropping is obvious and serious, output reduction is about 20 to 50 even 70 percent, and become a serious problem which affect and restrain the company of chilli pepper.For solving continuous cropping obstacle and arranging different crops rationally in the same field, the allelopathy functions of the root exudates (trast with distilled water) of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period are 20d and 50d to different receiver crops have been studied in lab. The concrete method is that we choose the best seeds of"Shanjiao 2006", then culture the seeds of starved area in the disinfertant silica sand and culture the seedlings which are already 5cm length in hoagland nutrient solution and aerate often with vacuum air pump. Repeat three times. We culture 30 strains of seedling of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 20d or 50d in 6L 0.5mmol/l CaCl2 solution for 4 hours (9:00-13:00). Extract the root exudates of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth periods are 20d and 50d 2 times in 500ml CH2Cl2 solution seperately. Dry the mixed solution of extraction and CH2Cl2 with rotary evaporator. Dissolve all the extraction with 2 ml CH2Cl2 and dilute the extraction to 240 ml with distilled water for the biological effect detection of the donor and detect the indexes of physiology and biochemistry of receiver crops.And we studied the difference between"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 70d and have added active carbon when the growth period is 20d and"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 70d and have not added active carbon when the growth period is 20d in hoagland solution. Else detect the indexes of growth and physiology of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 70d seperately.The test indicated:1. The effects of root execudate of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 20d to all the receivers: low concentration root execudate promoted germination rate, stem diameter, lateral root number, root-shoot ratio, POD, CAT, SOD, and high concentration root execudate promoted germination rate, stem diameter, lateral root number, root-shoot ratio, POD, CAT, SOD of all the receivers also, and the effects of high concentration root execudat are even more obviously. But the difference between low concentration and contrast, high concentration and contrast, low concentration and high concentration is small and not obvious.2. The effects of root execudate of"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 50d to all the receivers: low concentration promoted germination rate, stem diameter, lateral root number, root-shoot ratio, POD, CAT, SOD, but high concentration suppress all the indexes.3. The difference between"Shanjiao 2006"which the growth period is 70d and have added active carbon when the growth period is 20d and"Shanjiao 2006"which the period is 70d and have not added active carbon when the growth period is 20d in hoagland solution in lab is: add active carbon in hoagland solution can obviously promote the growth of"Shanjiao 2006". The result of test indicate: the wilt of the plant, electrical conductivity, membrane permeability, total phenols content of"Shanjiao 2006"which have not added active carbon are higher than"Shanjiao 2006"which have added active carbon, and chlorophyll content, POD, CAT, SOD of"Shanjiao 2006"which have not added active carbon are lower than"Shanjiao 2006"which have added active carbon. So the conclusion is that added active carbon in water foster of"Shanjiao 2006"can absorb efficiently harm contents of root exudates and reduce contaminate to"Shanjiao 2006".
