In this paper, ten genotypes of seabuckthorn were used including Hippophae rhamnoides ssp. sinensis, Hippophae rhamnoides and four hybrids of them, and systematic comparison study was done on their anatomical structures of roots, stems, leaves, analysis of the anatomy structural characteristics and their changing rules of three levels of Sebuckthorns , with the purpose of providing theoretical basis for the studies of Mechanism of drought resistance and the breeding of drought resistant cultivars of Sebuckthorns.Specific researching results are as follows:1. The Anatomic structure is closely related to drought resistance. (1) The results of observation of the shape and the structure of surface of leaves show that the Relative thickness, Stomatal density, layers of Epidermis and degrees of of tightness are positive correlated with drought-resistance of different Sebuckthorn genotypes, the leaf area,Relative area,Stomatalsize are of a negative correlation with drought-resistance of different Sebuckthorn genotypes. (2) The results of observing the anatomical structures found that ratio of palisade tissue and spongy tissue, ratio of palisade tissue and leaf thickness are positive correlated with drought-resistance of different Sebuckthorn genotypes, the ratio of spongy tissue and leaf thickness of a negative correlation with drought-resistance of different Sebuckthorn genotypes.2. The secondary structure parameters of Seabuckthorn stems is closely related to drought resistance. The size of vascular tissue, the vessel density in the xylem are of a positive correlation with drought resistance in cross section of stem of different genotypes of Seabuckthorn ; the cortex thickness, the vessel size in the xylem are negatively correlated with drought resistance in cross section of stem of different genotypes of Seabuckthorn3. The results of anatomic observation of the secondary structure of root show that the width of the column, the density of vessel distribution, Thickness of periderm and the ratio of Stele and Diameter ,the No. of cell layer of phellem of periderm are of a positive correlation with drought resistance in cross section of root of different genotypes of Seabuckthorn. The thickness of cortex, the ratio of cortical thickness and diameter are negatively correlated with drought resistance in cross section of stem of different genotypes of Seabuckthorn...
