In this research, slowgrowth conservation in vitro of the Japanese Hokkaido speciality little fruit tree HASKAOP germplasm resources was examined. It retard the rate of growth of plantlet and prolong the interval subcultures by changing different chemical elements of culture medium or adding different concentration of osmotic reagents (such as sucrose, mannital or sorbitol )or plant growth inhibitors (such as ABA or CCC) in culture medium .Some effects of the medium with different added materials on the growth of in vitro plantlets of HASKAOP were studied and suitable in vitro conservation methods were established for HASKAOP germplasm resources. The main results were as follows:1 It showed that 1/2MS + 6-BA 0.5mg/L medium with 60,90g/L sucrose restricted in vitro growth of the plantlets efficiently and conserved for over 5 months ,a high survival rate of 87.5% was achieved.2 It showed that 1/2MS + 6-BA 0.5mg/L medium with 20,30g/L mannitol and 20g/L sorbitol restricted in vitro growth of the plantlets efficiently and conserved for over 5 months, and 20g/L sorbitol were optimal,a high survival rate of 94% was achieved.3 It showed that 1/2MS + 6-BA 0.5mg/L medium with4,7,10 mg/L ABA and 200~500mg/L CCC restricted in vitro growth of the plantlets efficiently and conserved for over 5 months . 4mg/L ABA and 200mg/L CCC were optimal, after 5 months, the survival rate of 81.25% and 100% were achieved.4 Otherwise, the 1/2MS + 6-BA 0.5mg/L medium with 10,13 g/L agar could not restrict the gowth of in vitro plantlets effectively.
