The purpose of our study was to extract placenta bioactive peptides from deer placenta, and to determine its physical and chemical properties and immune activity. we want to see whether they were consistent with the activity of people placenta peptide. This can provide a basis for the deep study of the deer placenta peptide and the treatment of human or animal disease used by deer placenta peptide in the future. So it can explore a new type of immuno-modulator, and make full use of such deer by-products as deer placenta peptide. The results were as follows:1.Experimental result showed that the deer placenta peptide prepared by low-temp- erature hydrolysis ultra filtration was a colorless or micro strip yellow transparent liquid. It had the nature of dialysis and ultra filtration.2.MALDI-TOF MS mass spectrometry analysis and processing urea Tricine SDS-PAGE electrophoresis results had showed that the relative molecular weight of deer placenta peptide was less than 2763,matching with the molecular weight of human placenta peptides (the molecular weight of human placenta peptides was less than 2500~5000Da).3.Use MTT assay to measure the immune regulation of the extracted deer placenta peptides. The Experimental results had showed that the deer placenta peptides can increase transformation rate of the mice's lymphocyte cells in the inhibited state. But can not restore the mice's lymphocyte cells in the inhibited state to normal levels.4.The deer placenta peptide can promote the growth of nerve cells.
