The biological characteristics, the spatial distribution pattern, anatomical structure, the above ground biomass, breeding and the other aspects of the Spiraea plants in Inner Mongolia region were studied systematically, which fundamentally solved basic issues of the plants such as inadequate and provided a theoretical basis for the development and use of Spiraea plants. The results showed that: (1) the spatial distribution of Spiraea pubescens in 3-6 years presented an aggregating distribution with high aggregating intensity. (2) To use the natural state of the Spiraea in this study, random sampling methods were used, in accordance with the grade of branch age, and then their biomass were determined, a biomass model were built. Plants biomass increased in curve by power with age, the branches biomass and the branch length were related to branch biomass in exponential power curve. (3) The cultivated palnts in Spiraea were used to study the anatomy of the indicators and drought order. The result was: S. pubescens Turcz. and S. blumei were related species. S. mongolica and S. aquilegifolia were related species. (4) S. pubescens and S. trilobata were hard to stick cutting and take root. S. pubescens and the S. salicifolia were easy to take root. The results showed their optimal combination for rooting.
