The study on primitive forest, successive cutting forest and clear cutting forest of Larix gmelinii in Daxing'anling in Inner Mongolia was investigated to determine the status of forest structure and treated for the optimization structure of forests, which provided a useful study for managing and making use of the forest and achieving sustainable forest management.Through the diameter structure of forests, the spatial distribution pattern of forests, the quantitative characteristic of regeneration seedling and sapling, the distribution pattern and the dynamic change of the distribution pattern of forests of three forest types that showed structural characterization of different forest types of Larix gmelinii. The results were as follows:(1)The diameter structure of forests of three forest types showed the distribution characters of the type of opposite J. The individual number dropped off when the diameter grade diameter increased.(2)Regeneration seedling and sapling of three forest types of Larix gmelinii could be satisfied the needs of normal regeneration. The forests could regenerative development in a long term and the natural renewal was ideal as a whole.(3)The seedling and sapling of primitive forest, successive cutting forest and clear cutting forest of Larix gmelinii with other big trees were distributed assembly, the aggregative level gradually decreased when the age of forests increased.
