Generally speaking, we have achieved a lot in the giant panda breeding, however themain achievement of the ex-situ conservation is still at the stage of ex-situ breedingand artificial breed, but the study of the suitable microclimate of the captive giantpandas is still at the explore phase. The main content was about how the microclimate affects the physiology bio-chemical indexes of captive giant pandas and discuss the role and mechanism of anti-heat stress additive vitamin C. The detail content included three parts. The first was about the blood bio-chemic index of the total protein in the blood serum, Ca2+,Na+,Cl,hemoglobin albumin-globulin ratio, glucose. The second was about the content of fecal cortisol of the giant pandas. The third was on the respiration frequency when the giant pandas were sleeping. The conclusions were drawn as follows:1.With the temperature increase in summer giant panda Ca2+,P,HGB decreased significantly (P<0.05),TP,K+,Glu decreased significantly difference(P<0.01). respiration frequency and fecal cortisol increase significantly(P<0.05).2. anti-heat stress additive vitamin C could improve the productive performance of giant panda, comparing to the control group, TP,Ca2+,K+ increased significantly(P<0.01), Glu increased significantly difference(P<.01), fecal cortisol decreased significantly(P<0.05)...
