In order to explore the genetic regularity of photosynthetic characteristics, One hundred and twelve polymorphic SSRs were used to analyze 189 F2 individuals derived from a single cross of inbred lines A150-3-2 and Mo17, results as follows:(1) 32 QTLs for chlorophyll contentFour traits associated with chlorophyll content were measured at the trumpet stage and at the flowering stage. Total 32 QTLs were investigated on all the chromosomes except for chromosomes 6 and 10. There were 24 QTLs located on chromosomes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 at the trumpet stage. Six QTLs were investigated for chlorophyll-a content (chla), chlorophyll-b content (chlb), other photosynthetic pigment content (chlc), and total chlorophyll content (chlz), respectively. There were four major QTLs for chla, chlb, chlc, and chlz at the trumpet stage, which explained 11.63%, 10.3%, 10.77%, and 11.51% of the phenotypic variance, respectively. There were 8 QTLs located on chromos-omes 4 and 5 at the flowering stage, with 2 QTLs for chla, chlb, chlc and chlz, respectively.(2) 22 QTLs for leaf area traitsTenty-two QTLs in total were detected for leaf area traits. Five QTLs for GLA1 were detected on chromosome 1, 4 and 9, which explained 26.43% of total variance. Four QTLs for GLA2 were detected on chromosome 1, 4, 5 and 6, which explained 19.62% of total variance. Six QTLs for GLA3 were detected on chromosome 1, 4, 5 and 9, which accounted for 43.37% of total variance. Three QTLs for TLN were detected on chromosome 2, 3 and 5 and explained 25.47% of total variance. Four QTLs for LLN were detected on chromosome 4, 5, and 9 and explained 31.29% of total variance. Two major QTLs for GLA3, qGLA3-4-1 and qGLA3-5-1, were detected on chromosome 4 and 5, accounting for 11.72% and 11.02% of total variance, respectively. One major QTL for TLN, qTLN-5-1, which explained 11.50% of total variance, was detected on chromosome 5. One major QTL for LLN (qLLN-4-1) was detected on chromosome 4, explained 12.50% of total phenotypic variance.(3) 29 QTLs for yield traits Seven QTLs of kernel weight per plant were detected on chromosome 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 6 and 9, which explained phenotypic variance 37.92%, each explained 3.45%-6.83%.Two QTLs of 100 kernels weights were detected on chromosome 4, and 4, which explained phenotypic variance 9.44%. Four QTLs of rows number per ear were detected on chromosome 2, 5, 6 and 6, which explained phenotypic variance 22.74%, each explained 4.19%-8.79%. Four QTLs of kernels per row were detected on chromosome 1, 5, 6 and 9, which explained phenotypic variance 32.53%, each explained 4.57%-12.15%. qkr-1-1 can explained phenotypic variance 12.15 %, and qkr-5-2 can explained phenotypic variance 10.80 %.Three QTLs of ear length were detected on chromosome 1, 3 and 9, which explained phenotypic vatiance18.48%, each explained 4.97%-7.91%.Three QTLs of ear width were detected on chromosome 2, 4 and 5, which explained phenotypic vatiance17.59%, each explained 5.58%-6.15%.Two QTLs of bare length were detected on chromosome 1 and 10, which explained phenotypic variance 11.62%. Four QTLs of axes width were detected on chromosome 1, 2, 5 and 7, which explained phenotypic variance 22.98%, each explained 5.51%-6.14%.(4) 9 QTLs for photosynthetic rate. There were 4 QTLs of photosynthetic rate located on chromosomes 1, 7, 9, and10 at the trumpet stage, which explained 21.79% of total variance. Each QTL can explain phenotypic variance 4.05%-7.96%. There were 5 QTLs of net photosynthetic rate located on chromosomes 1, 6, 7, 9, and 10 at the flowering stage, which explained 24.09% of total variance. Each QTL can explain phenotypic variance 4.04%-6.87%.(5) Markers close to the major QTLs.SSR marker bnlg557 were the nearest marker close to qchlal-5-1, qchlbl-5-1, qchlcl-5-1 and qchlzl-5-1. bnlg1755 was the nearest marker close to qGLA3-4-1 and qLLN-4-1. umc1852 link with qGLA3-5-1 closely. umc1098 link with qTLN-5-1, bnlg1556 link with qkr-1-1 closely, umc1870 link with qkr-5-1 closely.
