In the present paper, the bioactivities of 5.44%butenyl-fipronil EC,5%fipronil SC,10%clorfenapyr EC,25%diafenthiuron EC,1% emamectin benzoate EC,10%imidacloprid WP,0.7%azadirachtin EC, 1.6%sophora-alopecuroids ME,20%NNI-0001 WG and 4.5% beta-cypermethrin ME against the diamond back moth(Plutella xylostella L.) were studied using the dipping method and ingestion method. The results showed that the toxicities of the tested insecticides within 72 h by dipping method were displayed with the expression,5% fipronil SC(LC50=0.93mg/L)>10%clorfenapyr EC(1.02mg/L)>1 %emamectin benzoate EC(1.27mg/L)>5.44%butenyl-fipronil EC (2.29mg/L)>20%NNI-0001 WG(24.26mg/L)>25%diafenthiuron EC(76.13mg/L)>4.5%beta-cypermethrin ME(143.50mg/L)>0.7 %azadirachtin EC(231.10mg/L).The toxicities of the tested insecticides within 72 h by ingestion method were expressed as follows,5.44%butenyl-fipronil EC(LC50=0.17mg/L)>5%fipronil SC (0.26mg/L)>1%emamectin benzoate EC(0.53mg/L)>25% diafenthiuron EC(0.72mg/L)>20%NNI-0001 WG(1.23mg/L)>10 %clorfenapyr EC(1.34mg/L)>1.6%sophora-alopecuroids ME (32.34mg/L)>0.7%azadirachtin EC(205.45mg/L)>10% imidacloprid WP(226.71mg/L).In addition, the 10 insecticides described in the present paper against Myzus persicae Sulzer were studied using the dipping method, and the toxicities within 48h of the insecticides were expressed as follows,10%imidacloprid WP (LC50=0.13mg/L)>5%fipronil SC(11.39mg/L)>1%emamectin benzoate EC(11.90mg/L)>10%clorfenapyr EC(14.34mg/L)>0.7 %azadirachtin EC(18.87mg/L)>1.6%sophora-alopecuroids ME (21.23mg/L)>4.5%beta-cypermethrin ME(166.92mg/L)>25% diafenthiuron EC(171.29mg/L)>5.44%butenyl-fipronil EC (190.64mg/L).In the present paper, the field trails control effects of 5.44% butenyl-fipronil EC,5%fipronil SC,25%diafenthiuron EC,1% emamectin benzoate EC,0.7%azadirachtin EC and 20%NNI-0001 WG against the diamond back moth(Plutella xylostella L.) were studied also, the results indicated that the 7 insecticides could be used as preferable insecticides against diamond back moth in field, the dosage of 5.44%butenyl-fipronil EC was 600-750 ml per ha.,5% fipronil SC was 375-450 ml per ha.,25%diafenthiuron EC was 1500-1800 ml per ha.,1%emamectin benzoate EC was 150-195 ml per ha.,0.7%azadirachtin EC was 600-750 ml per ha.and 20%NNI-0001 WG was 255-495 ml per ha..The control effect of 0.7%azadirachtin EC was not so good at the beginning of applying, but the control effect was better aider applying 3-7 days, which indicated that the insecticide has persistence control effect during the test period. In addition, the field trails control effects of 10%imidacloprid WP against Myzus persicae Sulzer was also studied, the results showed that the dosage of 10%imidacloprid WP was 300-450 g per ha.,which could be control the damage of the pest.
