Study On The Woody Plants Composition Feature Of Plants Community In Urban Park Green Space Of Zhengzhou City

The woody plants communities in different types of urban park green space in Zhengzhou city were studied on the base of landscape plant resources survey in this paper.The typical sampling method was used in this survey. The detailes such as names, number, height, crown width, diameter at breast height, area, density, growth status of woody plants were investigated. Then the composition of plant community, species'diversity index, plant community's appearance, high grade, DBH's ranking were analyzed and compared in this paper. The results indicated that:There were 94 trees and 79 shrubs in these woody plants communities, which belong to 54 families, 103 genera and 173 species. There were 49 families, 93 genera and 154 families of angiosperms, 5 families, 10 genera and 19 species of gymnosperms and 52 evergreen trees, 121 deciduous trees. The major families were rose family, olive family, legumes family, cypress family, honeysuckle family, magnolia family, willow family, euonymus family, pine family and barberry family.Among these plants, 29 species were native plants, which account for 16.76%. 110 species were introduced from other regions of China, which account for 63.58%. 34 species were introduced from foreign countries, which account for 19.65%. From theses figures we know that, the main species were other regions of China, others were local species and foreign species.The ratio of deciduous woody plants to evergreen woody plants was close to 2:1. The ratio of broadleaf woody plants to needles woody plants of general park, special park and the total species of Zhengzhou was 8:1, and the ratio of community park, coiled park, town park was 6:1.We know that deciduous woody plants were much more than evergreen plants, and broadleaf plants were much more rich than needles plants which was consistent with the characteristics of zonal vegetation of Zhengzhou City.Man-made plant communities in the city were different from the natural type, owing to the extent of man-made interference, and the dominance index was lower and the dominant plants were not concentrated.And the dominance index of general park, community park, community park, coiled park and town park was 0.05615, 0.06436, 0.05760,0.03852,0.06378.The dominant plants were common species such as Trachycarpus fortunei, Albizzia julibrissin, Ligustrum lucidum, Prunus cerasifera. In contrast, the dominance index of community parks were the highest , and the dominant plant was Trachycarpus fortunei. The dominance index of coiled park was the lowest, and the dominant plant was Ligustrum lucidum and Prunus cerasifera.Among the five type greenbelt, the species quantity of plant communities in all kinds of urban park greenbelt mostly were 3 and 5 in tree layer, and 5 in shrub layer. But the species quantity was more dispersed in shrubs layer.The abundance index of the five type green space in tree layer was community park (6.3) >general park (4.5) >town park (4.3) >special park (3.9) >coiled park (3.8). The abundance index in shrub layer was general park (5.1) >community park (5) > special park (3.9) >coiled park (3.7) > town park (3.6).The Simpson index and the Shannon-Wiener index show similar trends, and the Simpson index was higher than 0.5 in tree layer. The Simpson index of the five types green space in tree layer was community park (0.709) >coiled park (0.587) >general park (0.577) >town park (0.570) >special park (0.524). The Simpson index in shrub layer was special park (0.483)>town park(0.424)>coiled park(0.423)>general park (0.397) >community park (0.310).And the Simpson index of the tree layer was higher than shrub layer.The uniformity index of tree layers concentrated on 0.70~0.86. The uniformity index were as follows: community park(0.856) >coiled park(0.842) >special park(0.806) >general park(0.747) >town park(0.717). The uniformity index of shrub layers was special park(0.572) >town park(0.521) >general park(0.487) >coiled park(0.442) >community park(0.327). And the evenness of tree layer was higher than shrub layer.
