Studys On Plant Diversity Of Park Green Space In Xuancheng City Of Anhui Province

Urban park is the richest place of plant diversity in the urban green space system.The study of the plant species diversity can provide the theoretical basis for the urban biodiversity conservation.In this paper,a comprehensive survey of 14 representative urban parks in Xuancheng City was made,the composition of plant species was analyzed and the important values of tree species,the community similarity and plant diversity were calculated and discussed.Furthermore,the results can provide a theoretical basis and useful reference for the construction of green space planning and garden city in Xuancheng and other regions in the future.The main research results of study are as follows:1.There are 171 species of plants In the 212 species surveyed,belonging to 69 families and 121 genus.Among them,105 species were native plants of Xuancheng,accounting for 61.4% of plant species;66 species of exotic plants,38.6% of the total plants.As for the distribution of family,plant species in the Xuancheng park green space have the tendency for centralization to the Rosaceae,Leguminosae and Gramineae families,and have the characteristics for dispersion to the small families and single species.2.In the park green space,the larger number of tree species include camphor,elaeocarpus decipiens,willow and sweet scented osmanthus.By contrast,the more quantities of shrub trees is cuckoo,photinia,sweet scented osmanthus,loropetalum chinense.In these tree species,the important value of camphor is far higher than other species,and the important value of sweet scented osmanthus are in the top 5 of both the tree and shrub layers,and its position is only lower than the camphor.3.There are 212 plant communities can be classified into 6 typesin Xuancheng urban park.The proportion of evergreen deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest is the highest,accounting for 43.4%;However,the evergreen broad-leaved forest only has 15.1% of all the plant communities.These results indicated that plant communities in the Xuancheng park have not obvious zone characteristics.4.The plant communities in park greenbelts of Xuancheng city is mostly artificial afforestation,and the human disturbance factor is more.The species composition of plant community of each park is monotonous and significantly different.The similarity Jaccard coefficient of plant community in the different urban park greenbelts was below 0.5.Among them,the largest value is 0.409 between the Jingting Lake Park and Meixi Park;the smallest one is only 0.047 between Xiangshan Park and Fushan square.5.Although the abundance index and the diversity index of plant species among different parks existed big difference,there was also some regularity.For example,Meixi Park,Wanling Lake Park,Xuancheng botanical garden and the mud river park shared the most abundant arbor and shrub species,higher species diversity index and uniform plant distribution;Aofeng Park,Xiangshan Park,Lotus Lake Park and Cailuo square had the abundant index and relatively uniform distribution in the tree species,but the lower abundant index and uneven distribution in the shrub species;For Hanyu Culture Park,Jingting Lake Park,Jiuqu Park and dam pond park,plant species diversity index is low and their distribution is not uniform;Zhaoting square and Fushan square displayed the least plant species and the most uniform plant distribution.6.Different types of urban parks in Xuancheng,City Park is predominant in the species abundance and plant diversity,and the Regional Park also plays a very important role;Because of the late construction,the species richness and diversity index of the park and the special type of construction is relatively low,further work should be done to improve the indexes.The greenbelts next to the street exhibit the following feature: small area,rare plant species,but large quantity and extensive distribution,which are also an important part of Xuancheng park green space system.
