The Research On The Effects Of L-Carnitine Orotate On The Lactation Of KM Mouse

This paper studied the effects of L-carnitine orotate on the lactation of different lactation periods of KM mouse and studied the correlative function mechanism.To study the effects on the lactation of KM mouse of L-carnitine orotate,this thesis selected days 5,12,21 of the lactation KM mouse as objection.We had studied the change of the milk yield by the interval weight of newborn mice and studied the lactation correlated hormone by the radicalization immunity assay,and also studied the mammary gland development by paraffin method.The results see below:1.Determing the milk yield of KM mouse by the interval weight of newborn mice.The results show that in the eighth,eleventh,seventeenth,twentieth day of lactation,comparing the 0.9%physiologic saline control group,L-carnitine orotate two dose groups(250mg/kg B.W and 750mg/kg B.W.) and L-carnitine group(125mg/kg B.W.) all have an increasing tendency in milk yield,but the difference of milk yield is not significant;in the fifth day of lactation,comparing the 0.9%physiologic saline control group,L-camitine orotate high dose group and L-carnitine group both increase significantly in milk yield(p＜0.05),but L-carnitine orotate low dose group only has an increasing tendency and the difference is not significant;in the fourteenth day of lactation,comparing the 0.9%physiologic saline control group,L-carnitine orotate two dose groups and L-carnitine group all increase significantly in milk yield (p＜0.05).And the results also show that adding orotate functional group in the chemical constitution of L-carnitine to form L-carnitine orotate,L-carnitine orotate doesn't degrade the function of L-carnitine in the lactation.2.Determing the lactation correlated hormone prolactin,estradio,growth hormone,thyroxine,progestone by the radicalization immunity assay.The results show that comparing the 0.9%physiologic saline control group,L-carnitine orotate two dose groups(250mg/kg B.W and 750mg/kg B.W.) and L-carnitine group(125mg/kg B.W.) all have an increasing tendency in the lactation correlated hormone,but the difference is not significant.3.Determing the mammary gland development by paraffin method.The results show that L-camitine orotate can irritate mammogenesis not only to make mammary??nd alveolus close and augmentation,but also to make mammary gland pipe thicken and in full of milk in order to secret milk.
