In the crosses have been made, the male parents B72-8-11b and B102-1-2 possessd of the over-expressed superb subunits 1Dx5 and 1Ax1 respectively, while the female parents Emai12, Emai18, Chuan89-107 and Rikaze8 were with better a gronomic traits. In this study the over-expressed subunits 1Dx5 and 1Ax1 had been transferred into high-yield domestic varieties successfully and the combination of genetic engineering and routine crossbreeding was proved to be an effective way to transfer exogenes.The parents, F1, F2, F3 and F4 generations were tested for HMW-GS compositions by SDS-PAGE analysis and the expression of GUS gene in F3 generation were tested, the main research conclusion were as follows:(1) In the progenies of the crosses with the male parent B72-8-11b, sixteen pure lines were observed and they belong to seven types of HMW-GS composition .Then 138 seeds were selected based on their over-expressed subunit 1Dx5 and differert endogenous HMW-GS compositions. In addition, a few seeds without expression of GUS gene were found.(2) In the progenies with the male parent B102-1-2, seven pure lines were observed and they belong to two types of HMW-GS composition. Then 38 seeds were selected based on their over-expressed subunit 1Ax1 and differert endogenous HMW-GS composition.The pure lines and the seeds with different HMW-GS composition compose a resource pool after farther breeding. A part of them will be generalized as specialised bread-making wheat.
