There are four experiments in this study.Effect of cornzyme,Xiasheng enzyme, lactic acid bacteria and formic acid or their mixture on Napiergrass silage fermentation quality was studied.The effect of different levels cornzyme on Napiergrass silage fermentation quality was stuied in experimentⅠ.The addition ratio was 0(C),0.5ml kg-1(E1),1ml kg-1(E2), 1.5ml kg-1(E3),2ml kg-1(E4) on fresh weight.The results showed cornzyme could improve Napiergrass fermentation quality and degraded cellulose into water soluble carbohydrate(WSC).The pH,ammonia nitrogen(AN)/total N,volatile fatty acids (VFAs) decreased further and lactic acid(LA),WSC,:LA/(acetic acid)AA increased further with the cornzyme amount increasing.It was suggested that addiing 1ml kg-1 cornzyme could improve the fermentation quality of Napiergrass silage.The effect of lactic acid bacteria on Napiergrass silage fermentation quality was evaluated in experimentⅡ.The addition ratio was 0(C),5mg kg-1(L1),10mg kg-1 (L2),15mg kg-1(L3) on fresh weight.The results showed the pH,AN/TN and the contents of propionic acid(PA) and butyric acid(BA) of silage decreased significantly (p<0.05) and the LA,WSC and LA/AA increased significantly(p<0.05) with the lactic acid bacteria amount enhanced as compared with control.It was indicated that the addition of 10mg kg-1 could improve the fermentation quality of Napiergrass silage.The effect of adding cornzyme,lactic acid bacteria or with their mixture on Napiergrass silage fermentation was evaluated in experimentⅢ.The addition ratio was 0(C),1ml kg-1(E),10mg kg-1(L),1ml kg-1+10mg kg-1(E+L) on fresh weight.The results suggested that the pH dropped rapidly and lactic acid fermentation was promoted in E+L treatment.After 30 days fermentation the pH,AA,PA,VFAs of E+L treatment was lower than E or L treated alone and the LA,WSC,LA/AA,in vitro dry matter digestibility(IVDMD) were enhanced in E+L treated silage.The effect of several additives was in the order as follows:E+L>E>L.The effect of cornzyme,Xiasheng enzyme and formic acid on Napiergrass silage dynamics fermentation was studied in experimentⅤ.The addition ratio was 0(C), 1.5ml kg-1(cornzyme,EA),0.5g kg-1(Xiasheng enzyme,EB),3.5ml kg-1(formic acid, F) on fresh weight respectively.The results showed that Xiasheng enzyme could degrade a part of cellulose into some WSC and improved the silage fermentation quality.However,the pH,AA,VFAs of silage treated with Xiasheng enzyme tended to increase and the LA,LA/AA,IVDMD tended to decrease as compared with silage treated with cornzyme.As a whole,the effect of cornzyme was better than Xiasheng enzyme on Napiergrass silage fermentation.The pH of silage treated with formic aic decreased significantly(p<0.05) and the plant respiration,the activity of aerobic bacteria were inhibited.The AN/TN and contents of AA,BA and VFAs decreased significantly(p<0.05) as compared with control.The silage loss was reduced and the silage fermentation quality was improved with formic acid.
