Podophyllotoxin, as a kind of lignans, has a great value in medical field because of its effective anticancer and antivirus activities. However, its natural resource is very limited and has a long way to meet the demand of market. Scientists found that endophytic fungus from some plants such as Sinopodopbllum Ying has the ability to produce Podophyllotoxin .So we can use that endophytic fungus's fermentation to produce podophyllotoxin and solve its shortage. The experiment use our lab's two producing Podophyllotoxin trains: STQ train and Ty-x train and we use the co-fermentation method to enhance the content of Podophyllotoxin. Though this experiment we want to obtain co-fermentation related data for industrialization. The fermentation conditions and mediums of STQ train and Ty-x train producing podophyllotoxin were optimized. The optimizational ingredients of fermentation medium as following: 1% soluble starch,1% sucrose,0.15% bean cake power,0.15% yeast extract,0.075 % K2HPO4,0.075% NaCl. The optimized culture conditions were: STQ train:Ty-x train =2:1, 5% inoculating concentration, initial pH 6.5, liquid capacity 70mL in 250mL flask, at temperature of 28℃for 7d. The content of podophyllotoxin was enhanced by 9.8% with 15.1% of dry cell weight using the optimizational medium.
