Effection Of Extractions Of Herbaceous Medicine Instead Of Antibiotics In Feed For Broilers

Water extracts and ethanolic extracts from Chinese Pulsatilla Root,Purslane Herb, Dyers Woad Leaf and Ash Barks,were screened against E.coli C₈₄₀₀₈ and Salmonella pullorum C_79-13 by using the disk diffusion test technique,the minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC) were determined by microdilution method.The best prescriptions were determined by orthogonal experiment,named as P1^# and P2^#.A one-factor experiment was designed to investigate the feeding effects of different feed additives(TCM extracts and flavomycin) in Liu zhou pockmark chickens.A total of 300 female broiler chickens(Liu zhou pockmark chicken) were included in a feeding experiment.The experimental design consisted of five dietary treatments with three replicate pens of 20 chickens.Over the entire experimental period(Day 1 to 56),the diet of treatmentâ… andâ…¡were supplemented 0.3%and 0.6%P1^#,the diet of treatmentâ…¢andâ…£were supplemented 0.3%and 0.6%P2^#,the diet of treatmentâ…¤were supplemented 150mg/kg flavomycin.The effect of two TCM compound prescription on growth performance,caecum microflora communities and intestinal mucosa structure of broilers be researched.The results indicated that:1,extraction methods and the best combination of in-vitro antibacterial activity of TCM The result shows that The ethanolic extract of Dyers Woad Leaf was not inhibitory to E.coli. Chinese Pulsatilla Root,Purslane Herb,Dyers Woad Leaf(water) extracts were active against all the bacteria tested.The aqueous extracts of Chinese Pulsatilla Root and Dyers Woad Leaf and The best combination against E.coli is Chinese Pulsatilla Root aqueous extract:Purslane Herb aqueous extract:Dyers Woad Leaf aqueous extract:Ash Barks ethanolic extract = 49:21:23:7;the best combination against Salmonella pullorum is Chinese Pulsatilla Root aqueous extract:Purslane Herb aqueous extract:Dyers Woad Leaf aqueous extract:Ash Barks ethanolic extract = 27:45:12:16.2,The effect of TCM compound prescription on growth performance of broiler P1^# and P2^# has the same effect with flavomycin survival rate of broilers.The groups containing 0.3%P1^#,0.3%P2^# and 0.6%P2^# broiler had the same effect on daily gain,feed intake and feed conversion rate with flavomycin supplemented groups.3,The effect of TCM compound prescription on caecum microflora communities of broiler Effect of microbiota in colon broiler of additived P1^# and P2^# by PCR-DGGE.The result shows that both of P1^# and P2^# could increase the number of lactobacillus and decreased the number of E.coli.in colon of broiler.4,The effect of TCM compound prescription on intestinal mucosa structure of broiler positive effect to intestinal mucosa structure of P1^# and P2^# is better than flavomycin,and the positive effect to duodenum and jejunum is better than ileum.In summary,two doseof P2^# can substitute flavomycin absolutely which contained in diet of broiler,0.3%was recommended.The dose of P1^# should be researched more in the future.
