Active antimicrobial ingredient of Heartleaf Houttuynia Herb was decanoyl acetaldehyde(Houttuynin),It were evident that the effects of antibacterial activities on Micrococcus catarrhalis and Streptococcus haemolytic,Haemophilus influenzae, Diplococcus pneumonia,Staphylococcus aureus.The effects of antibacterial activities on E.coli,Shigella spp and Salmonella typhi were also discovered.Some results showed that the products with pharmacological activity similar to host plants were synthesized by endophytic microbes.Some endophytic microbes were separated in this experiment so as to obtain the microbes which important medicine products could be synthesized.The studies on the quantity and distribution of endophytic microbes and common characteristic of endophytic bacteria were reseached.The results showed that there were great amount endophytic microbes in the roots,stems,leaves of Heartleaf Houttuynia Herb.The general amount variation tendency were roots(8.126×10~4cfu/gfw)>stems(1.882×10~4cfu/gfw),stems>leaves(3.912×10~3 cfu/gfw); There were more actinomycetes than bacteria(The amount of bacteria in roots,stems, and leaves were7.92×10~4cfu/gfw,1.72×10~4cfu/gfw and 3.07×10~3cfu/gfw),but the quantity of actinomycetes was higher than fungi(there were more fungi than actinomycetes in leaves);The endophytic microbes were mainly Gram-positive Bacillus,especially in the stems(ratio of Gram-positive bacteria was 91.7%,ratio Bacillus sp.in total microbes was 83.3%,Bacillus was 75.0%).The endophytic microbes in stems were researched as focal point to select resistant strains according to the total features of endophytic in Heartleaf Houttuynia Herb.7 strains with great effects of antibacterial activities of E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus were selected from 200 bacteria strains,the ratio of inner diameter and outside diameter of inhibition circle were respectively as follows: restrain of E.coli:3.28,2.67,2,4,3,2,1.63;restrain of S.aureus:3.8,1.82,4,2.71,15,2,3.33;And they were initially identified as follows:5 strains in Bacillus, 1 strain in Pseudomonas and 1 strain in Frateuria.The antibacterium property of these 7 resistant strains were initially researched.The result showed that inhibition circles diameter(test with filter paper) of fermentation liquor were filtered with bacterial percolator(aperture 0.22μm) that were about 10mm.The antibacterial material were extracellular secretion;These antibacterial material with high heat resisting property could keep its activities in 90℃,10min.All fermentation liquor were concentrated for 10 times would lose bacteriostatic activities after dialysis 18h in distilled water;Different fermentation liquor were concentrated for 10 times and protain were removed.Same disposing medium were as reference.There were a maximum absorptivity in range 200nm to 800nm wavelength.The fermentation liquor of 1,2,3,7 strains presents a maximum absorptivity at 283nm wavelength,and they were initiailly considered as the same type compound of houttuynin.
