The study firstly was recorded number of Ectropis oblique Prout larvae,and reflected different selectivity of tea varieties to Ectropis obliqua Prout by the release of a large number of a larvae;These tea varieties are Zhenong 113,Fuyun 6,Longjing 43,Shucha zao, Pingyang tezao,Baihao zao,Nongkang zao;The Ectropis obliqua Prout larvae periods, the survival rate of larvae,leaf volume,the larvae of the average age body weight,the pupa periods,the emergence rate and the average weight of pupa had been tested with using seven tea varieties and feeding Ectropis obliqua Prout.Chemical factors such as tea polyphenols,amino acids,soluble sugar,caffeine,the content of catechins and PPO,POD activity have been tested.The principal results of this paper were as follows:1.Ectropis obliqua Prout selectivity on the seven different tea varieties had been tesed. Ectropis obliqua Prout had a weak selectivity to Nongkang zao,and had power selectivity to Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6.2.Ectropis obliqua Prout larvae periods and the pupa periods in the different tea varieties had been tesed;the logest larvae periods and the pupa periods was Nongkang zao,.the shorter larvae periods and the pupa periods was Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6.3.Ectropis obliqua Prout larvae age of body weight,pupa weight and leaf volume had been tested;Nongkang zao had the lightest larvae age of body weight,pupa weight and leaf volume.Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6 has the heaviest larvae age of body weight, pupal weight and leaf volume.4.On different tea varieties,the survival rate of larvae,the emergence rate of pupa had been tesed.The survival rate of larvae had a certain regularity.The longer the survival rate,The shorter the periods.Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6 had the longer the survival rate and the shorter the periods.Nongkang zao had the shortest the survival rate and the longest the periods.5.This paper had identified tea varieties resistant indicator:Ectropis oblique Prout larvae development periods and weight,pupal weight.6.In physical form,the determination of the fence,spongy tissue,the skin thickness,the thickness of cuticle,hair density.Several different varieties of tea leaf cuticle thickness, hair density there was a significant difference.However,these organizations were the thickness and resistance to the relevance of the non-significant,there was no further in-depth study.7.Different varieties of tea leaves on the various biochemical indicators of tea polyphenols, ean melt sugar,total amino acid,caffeine and catechin content.In addition to soluble sugar,others were significantly different.Through multiple regression analysis know tea geometrid TP duration and content,caffeine,catechin was positively correlated with the total amount of amino acids was negatively correlated.In other words,the TP content, caffeine,the higher catechin,the tea geometrid the resistance were strong,otherwise the weak.The higher the total amount of amino acids,the resistance were weak.8.Different varieties of tea leaves and the normal after the leaves were bited,the PPO, POD results show that the enzyme activity as follows:Different species of normal leaves was no significant differences.The bited leaves of activity was a significant difference. The same species are significant differences.The activity of other closely related with the resistance.Resistance to Nongkang zao has the highest activity,Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6 belong to the lower.9.On the seven tea varieties,Zhenong 113 was the strongest resistance to Ectropis oblique Prout;Zhenong 113 and Fuyun 6 were the worst resistance to Ectropis oblique Prout.
