Chlorpromazine is phenothiazine drug for receptor blocking pharmacon of nerve centre dopamine.it acts on central nervous system and is provided with anti-psychosis, cooling,hypnosis,narcosis and so on.it is used for sedative in veterinary clinic.In recent years,some disobedient merchants added chlorpromazine to feedstuff without permission because of interests to sedation and hypnosis and accordingly act on fat and growth promotion indirectly.In addition,in the process of transportation,in oder to decrease weightlessness in transit and death of stress,prevent meat quality to drop,chlorpromazine are ofen used large dose before slaughtering especially and come into being residues in livestock products.Chlorpromazine in vivo is metabolized by liver,mostly eliminated from urine,but elimination is slow,and comes into being residues in vivo in several months. Chlorpromazine of residues in animal tissues comes into human in vivo by food chain,and causes decrease of white blood cell,agranulocytosis and some else adverse reactions.so it affects people in good condition.at the same time,residues above-norm affect export of livestock products and bring huge economical loss.A gas chromatagraphy-mass spectrometry method was developed for determination of chlorpromazine in porcine muscle.Chlorpromazine residues were extracted,redistributed, purified and eluted with ethyl acetate,n-hexane,C18 and amimate ethyl acetate,and analyzed in selective ion monitoring(SIM) mode using m/z 86,233,272 and 318 with electronic ionization(EI).The detection limit was down to 1ng/g(S/N>3).The calibration curve was linear in the range of 1~1000 ng/g.The recoveries were 78.2~89.3%,The relative standard deviation was 4.34~6.03%.At 1,5,10ng/g concentration,the CV%within day was 5.67%,4.50%,and 4.35%for porcine muscle,the between day CV%wasS.04%,4.19 %,and 3.97%.The method was sensitive,practicable,simple and so on.The result showed this method was sensitive and precisable to measure promazine residues in porcine muscle.The established method will provide a new method for determination of chiorpromazine in porcine muscle and monitor promazine residues in porcine muscle to ensure and vindicate people healthness with academic and practicai references.
