By researching on the effect of net-paved treatment, different culture media, the ways of different net-paved and sowing rates on the time of turf formation, phenotypic traits, sod traits and comprehensive quality of sod, results were as follows:1. No matter what kind of matrix, Compared to net-paved treatment and the no-net-paved treatment that net-paved treatment could enhanced the strength of turf, shortened time of retina sod formation. Farmland soil+ river sand+ rotten sheep droppings-the ratio of the three was 3 to 1 to 1- as the optimum culture media.2. The depth of net-paved and the depth of seed-covered influnced the turf characteristics and comprehensive quantity. Considered the actual production, in order to facilitate operations and reduce operations, retina sod production process should be culture media+seed+nylon net and culture media from the bottom to the top(0.5cm-1cm).3. Research showed that Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, tall fescue retina sod by mono-and mixed culture :the time of turf formation was shortened with the increase of sowing rate. Plant density and strength of retina sod was increased with the increase of sowing rate. Growth rate, the width of leaves and content of chlorophyll, first ascended and then descended. With the increase of sowing rate ground biomass increased, however, ground 0-5cm biomass decreased. By means of comprehensive evaluation on sod quality and the time of turf formation, the optimal sowing rate of Kentucky bluegrass by mono-culture was between 15~18g/m~2. the optimal sowing rate of perennial ryegrass by mono-culture was between 30~35g/m~2. the optimal sowing rate of tall fescue by mono-culture was between 35~40g/m~2. the optimal sowing rate of Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, tall fescue retina sod by mixed culture was between 25~35g/m~2.4. The results of three ways of turfgrass mat production indicated that culture media(3cm)+ river sand(2cm)+ culture media(3cm)+nylon net and culture media was the optimum technology of turfgrass mat productiont and strength of net-paved sod was obviously higher than no-net-paved sod.
