The growth traits of body weight and pedigree from 2000 to 2007 of Inner Mongolia White Cashmere Goat Breeding Farm in Erdos was used to analyze the non-genetic factors influencing the growth traits, and MTDFREML was used to estimate the heritability of the birth weight, weaning weight, daily gain and one-year-old weight. The results were: 0.36, 0.40, 0.27 and 0.17.The body weight and body sizes data from birth to one-year-old was used to analysize the law of growth in the Inner Mongolia Cashmere Goat. Logistic model was the best in fitting the growth curve and the weight curve was "S" type with a inflection point about 5 months old. The growth had a faster rate before the inflection point, then gradually slowed down. The polynomial was used to fit the growth curve of body sizes, and had a inflection point in the 4 to 5-month-old. In addition, the correlation between the body weight and body sizes in different growth stages showed that, the chest grith was the main indicator for body weight in different ages and different sex groups. The polymorphism of 15 microsatellite loci was analyzed, and the result showed that MCM38 significantly affected one-year-old body weight, and OarFCB0193 significantly affected weaning weight and daily gain, and OarCP9 significantly affected birth body weight, and ILSTS004 significantly affected one-year-old body weight. So microsatellite loci above can be used as genetic markers for candidate gene about body weight growth.
