Studies On Sustainable Development Of Flue-cured Tobacco Production In Shangqiu City Of Henan Province

The sustainable development is now the main subject of our society.As a part of macro-agriculture,tobacco production faces the same problem of sustainable development.The sustainable development of tobacco production in our country focuses on meeting the raw material demand of Chinese type cigarette through a way of using natural resources scientifically,reasonably and effectively while to protect and improve the ecological environment of tobacco-producing areas;to maintain and enhance the overall ecosystem function;to optimize and improve the organization of tobacco production;to realize the coordinated and balanced development in tobacco production resources,environment and society;to produce tobacco of liberal quantity and reliable quality are all the keys to guarantee the current and future demand for cigarette production.Based on SWOT(Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats) analysis model,the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of Shangqiu tobacco production were cleared,some countermeasures for the sustainable development of Shangqiu cured tobacco were put forward as follows:firstly,to construct and protect the basic tobacco fields;secondly,to establish a tobacco-based farming system; thirdly,to consolidate the fundamental production base of tobacco;fourthly,to implement the strategy of promoting tobacco through science and technology;fifthly, to improve guarantee mechanism for policies;sixthly,to build characteristic brand and enhance the image of Shangqiu tobacco;seventhly,to innovate new ways of organization and enhance the management level.
