Study On Oak Forest Health Management In Beijing Mountainous

Oak forest is an important part of forest resources in Beijing.But the characte-ristic of Oak forest resources is that most of Oak forest was secondary forest to come through natural regeneration,the young-and middle-aged forests take up great majority,water conservation forest hold the biggest proportion.Because of the short of managment,the stand structure had been degeneration and the benefit of forest was inferior.The study was on Oak forest in Beijing mountainous,consists of species frame,age frame,vertical structure,spatial structure.With the theory study,we got the methods of forest improve and the model of Oak forest objective structure:using indigenous tree species to make mixed forest and the proportion of Oak species mustbeing between 30%-80%.It must be uneven-aged forest.The canopy density should be between 0.5-0.8.The bush and herb under trees must grow well,and have obvious layer.The forest spatial structure have to be trend to random distribution.Based on this,through canopy density,species composition,neighborhood pattern,the silviculture workong group of Oak forest in Beijing mountainous was classified.The suggestions of health management technology was also provided in this paper.In the end,plantation demonstration site was been found to check the management technology and the result.
