Macro arthropod fauna is a conspicuous component of most terrestrial ecosystems worldwide. As the primary portion of the macro arthropod fauna associated with the cattle dung, coprophagous dung fauna play a key role on the dung dispersal, nutrient cycling, and bio-control of fly reproduction in the grassland ecosystem. Most dung beetles remove quickly and bury a portion under the soil surface or roll it for a distance away from the dung and bury it, either for adult feeding or for oviposition and subsequent feeding of the larvae. The behavior of burial changes the characterization of the soil, and increase the biomass of the plant. The authors forecast the research trends of the variety of dung beetle community, and the ecological function of the fauna. The result is to study dung fauna associated with the temporal and spatial as follow:1. according to the structure of the community and the feeding, there are 7 Orders, 52 Families, 135 genera, 255 Species in dung fauna for this study. It can be defined for seven groups: coprophagous(32 Species), saprotrophagous(160 Species), phytophagous(58 Species), predatory(120 Species), omnivory(22 Species), necrophagous(17 Species), parasitica (l Order) .2. As the cattle dung laying, the number of aphodius and coprophagous were decreasing, the number of staphylinoidae was increasing at the beginning of the experiment, and then decreasing, there was no significant for the number of the other dung fauna.3. It is a significant variety among the five months. Most of aphodius appear in May and June, most of coprophagous appear in May, and the fastigium of the Staphylinoidae is May and September, the species and abundance are low in the other dung fauna.4. Among the different habitats, the pasture has more aphodius and coprophagous, the destroyed pasture has more aphodius, the staphylinoidae was larger numbers in four habitats, and the other species are low in all haibitat.5. The weight of cattle dung was decreasing during the dung pads laying on pasture. It is more losing in May, but less in summer.6. The larvae of fly were decreasing during the dung pads laying on pasture. It has a bimodal among five months in one year.7. As importiont as the role of coprophagous, the staphylinoidae has a signifiant bio-control for flies.
