High pH level and low nutritious concentration were the two most important factors of brittle Karst entironment, they inhibited the absorption of nutrition elements by foliage, and incumbered the normal growth of the plants badly, and the plants which were inclined of acid, wet and fertile can't grow normally, finally resulted in the simple community structure, the ecosystem would be destroyed easily. And for the repair of southwest degenerate Karst entironment, the vanward plants' select and cultivate played a very important role, first we should study the physiological and ecological characteristics of these selected plants, and it could provide a credible scientific gist for the father of the brittle Karst entironment.Took a vine specie Honeysuckle as the study material, for it adapted to the Karst area, and took the familiar vine species Morning glory and Japanese creeper as the counterpart, then simulated the Karst environment such as the high pH level and low concentration of nutrient elements, finally mensurated and analysed the physiological characteristics(carbonic anhydrase activity, chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics), the plant absorption of nutrition(N,P) and the growth status(Height, stem diameter, leaf area, dry plant weight, chlorophyll content) of the three vine species grown in different pH levels and different concentration of nutritious solution, discussed the three vine species' adaptive character and mechanism in Karst environment with high pH level and low nutritious concentration.Concluded as following:[1]The Honeysuckle and Morning glory all had a high CA activity, oppositely, Japanese creeper hardly had any CA activity;the Honeysuckle grew well at pH8.2,and the Morning glory grew well at pH7.2,under these conditions, the CA activities of theirs all became the lowest; In the 1/4 concentration of original nutrition, the Honeysuckle and Morning glory grew in adversity, their CA activity reached the highest value, with the concentration decreased, the CA activity of Morning glory never increased again, but the Honeysuckle's increased a little. It could be concluded that the CA activity of the Honeysuckle could adapt to the high pH(pH8.2) and low nutritious concentration environment, but the CA activity of Morning glory was easy to be inhibited by low nutritious concentration, the CA activity of Japanese creeper was too low to be mensurated. [2]The value ofΦPSⅡ in Honeysuckle increased evidently with the increase of pH, and reached the highest value at pH8.2,the values of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in Japanese creeper decreased evidently with the increase of pH,the chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of Morning glory reached the highest value at pH6.2,subsequently,there was no significant variation with the increase of pH.The chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of Honeysuckle increased with the decrease of nutritious concentration, reached the highest value at 1/8 concentration of original nutrition, the Japanese creeper also had no significant variation, the Morning glory decreased as a whole, but its value was still very high. And then we concluded that the photosynthesis of Honeysuckle and Morning glory was better than Japanese creeper in the high pH and low nutritious concentration environment, and the pH had no influence on Morning glory which also had a steady photosynthesis;the nutritious concentration had no influence on Japanese creeper which also had a steady photosynthesis, and the photosynthesis of Honeysuckle both increased in the high pH and low nutritious concentration environment.[3]The cumulation of total N,P in Honeysuckle reached the highest value at pH8.2, the Mroning glory had no significant variation, but the Japanese creeper decreased slowly; The cumulation of total N,P in Honeysuckle also reached the highest value at 1/8 concentration of original nutrition, the Morning glory decreased slowly, but the Japanese creeper had no significant variation.[4]The growth parameters and chlorophyll contents of Honeysuckle increased with the increase of pH,and reached the highest value at pH8.2,the Japanese creeper reached highest value at pH6.2,the growth parameters except dry plant weight and chlorophyll contents of morning glory had no significant differences with the increase of pH;The growth parameters and chlorophyll contents of Honeysuckle increased with the decrease of nutritious concentration, and reached the highest value at 1/8 concentration of original nutrition,Japanese creeper had no significant variation, the growth parameters and chlorophyll contents of Morning glory decreased slowly with the decrease of nutritious concentration;then it could be concluded that Honeysuckle grew better in the high pH than Japanese creeper, and the pH had no influence on Morning glory; Honeysuckle also grew better in the low nutritious concentration than Morning glory, the nutritious concentration had no influence on Japanese creeper.Above all,Honeysuckle had a good adaptability to the high pH level and low nutritious concentration;Morning glory had a good adaptability to high pH level and a bad adaptability to low nutritious concentration, but the Japanese creeper was just at the opposite side.On one hand,it could provide some clues for us to choose vanward plants in Karst area, for the other hand, when did the ecology repair of Karst area by these plants,we could fertilize the soil so as to improve the environment, then we could plant the three vine species far and wide, finally, repaired the destroyed brittle entironment in Karst area through plant growing.
