An Analysis On Vegetation Pattern Of Ecotone At Large-Scale In North China

An ecotone is a transition between diverse neighboring ecosystems.Analysis on ecotone is significantly beneficial in modern ecology and global changes.Some explainations between organism and environment have been given at small-scale before.However,introduction to local phenomena lacks quantitative analysis to pattern and process from a whole.We have chosen ecotone of north china which ranges from 41°N to 46°N and l16°E to 126°E as study region,the abstract and spatial vegetation pattern is analyzed through four vegetation-climate classification models(Holdridge life zone model,Kira model,Thornthwaite model and Organizational order of vegetation model).We also find suitable model based on the analysis on zonal vegetation and reconstruction the potential spatial pattern.The kernel aim is to grasp mechanism between biology and environment at large scale and present pattern in theory,in order to supply theory reference for recovery of injured ecosystems.
