Aegilops tauschii Cosson is the donor species of D genome in common wheat,it is widely distributed in the world.It contains many genes that has excellent resistance to diseases,insect pests and drought-resistant and has many other excellent qualities..Thus,it is a valuable genetic resources to ameliorate In the Yellow River Basin,there are many kinds of Aegilops tauschii,Some of them have been studied,but without a large-scale investigation.The purpose of this study is to investigate the genetec variability and drought-resistant in Aegilops tauschii in the Yellow River Basin,and to find the valuable germ plasm in Ae.Tauschii.In recent years studies have shown that,the transference of plant disease-resistant genes from the relatives is an important way to expend disease-resistant genetic basis of wheat varieties.In the Yellow River Basin natural distribution of many tauschii contains a wealth of resistance genetic resources.Studies on powdery mildew,rust,scab resistance has made at home and abroad in wheat plants.However,the identification of sheath blight resistance is still rarely reported.Therefore, identification of the wheat plant's resistance to sheath blight from relatives from relatives is of great significance.196 accessions of Ae.tauschii from the the Yellow River Basin and Xinjiang were analysed by SSRs technology on this study.The purporse of this study is estimate the diversity of this Aegilops tauschii.It can offer base for distent hybrid.Identification of resistence to Wheat Sharp eyespot were carried on in this Ae.tauschii.The main result is as follows:35 pairs of SSR primers homogeneously distributed on 14 chromosomes of Ae.tauschii was used to invetigated the genetic diversity of 196 In the Yellow River Basin.26 out of 35 SSR loci(74%) were polymorphic.On the26 SSR loci,a total of 58 alleles had been detected in these Ae.tauschii accessions.At each SSR locus,l(WMS458)to 5(WMS296) alleles could be detected,with an average of 2.7.Unrooted UPGMA tree and Dendrogram of 196 Ae.tauschii accessions by SSR marker show that the cluster plan,which clustered into three types of basic materials:Xinjiang Aegilops tauschii clustered separately,the materials which are separated from each other;Shaanxi,Henan tauschii all clustered together,Most of these materials can not be separated from the small part of Shaanxi and Henan tauschii materials together with each othe。rBased on SSR data,the genetic distance(GD) among 196 Ae.tauschii accessions was calculated.196 Ae.tauschii accessions could be clustered together in gentic distance range of 0.071-0.2621.The GD between Ae.tauschii accessions in Henan and Shanxi was smallest (0.071),while the GD between Ae.tauschii accessions in Xinjiang and Shanxi was greast(0.2621)..The result indicated that the germplasm base of these Ae.tauschii accessions was related narrow;The main result of drought-resistant in Aegilops tauschii in the Yellow River Basin as follows:72 drought-resistant materials Aegilops tauschii showed that 6 were found in material Aegilops tauschii drought,accounting for 8.3%for the 31 drought-resistant materials,accounting for 43.1%,non-drought Materials 48.6%accounts for 35.The survival rate of three Ae.tauschii accessions higher than the control material Luohan 2,drought-resistant material is better.Overall the majority of drought-resistance of Aegilops tauschii stronger materials,Shanxi drought resistance materials tauschii Aegilops tauschii than the material in Henan.
