The characteristic of zymograms,Chromosome karyotype and Characteristics of Molecular Biology to hybrid F1 between E. elongate and E. intermedia were analysis by means of Physiological biochemical , cytology and ISSR markers. To investigate the genetic difference and relevance between Elytrigia hybrids and their parents.The main results were as fellow:(1) Bands ratio of number of isozyme zymograms of Peroxidase(POD),esterase(EST),polyphenol oxidase(PPO) and superoxide disr-mutase (SOD) of E. intermedia with E. elongata, was up to 60%~77%, the parents were close genetic relationship.(2) EST bands of Hybrid F1 was almost the same with the parents.the amplification bends of hybrid F1 with isozyme zymograms of POD,PPO,SOD were complememtary with that of parents. The characteristic of isozyme bands of POD,PPO of F1 hybrid's trend to E. intermedia, and the SOD isozyme band trend to E. elongata. E. intermedia was close genetic relationship with Z1,Z2 of F1 hybrid of cross and Z3 of Hybrid F1 of reciprocal cross.(3) Root tip chromosome counts showed that reciprocal cross of hybrid F1 was 56(2n=56),The initial identification of the authenticity of the hybrid F1 in Cytological level. karyotype types of E. intermedia and E. elongate belonged to"2B"type, Its karyotype variation was not Thekaryo formulae of E. intermedia k ( 2n )=6x=42=4M+32m+6sm,E. elongate k(2n)=10x=70=2M+44m+24sm, E. intermedia of over 2 of Arm ratio was 9.52%, E. elongata was 11.42 % , It showed that E. intermedia original than E. elongata and relationship of their parents was almost the same.(4) The results of amplieation of Hybrid F1 with ISSR markes, and their parents showed that Z1,Z2 and Z3 of cross F1 hybrid's trend to E. intermedia, and Z4 of reciprocal cross F1 hybrid's trend to E. elongate. In the four Hybrid F1, theZ4 plant has differences.with other three plants.
