Based on the common phenomenon of soil salinization in bashang Plateau Region in Hebei and was serious year by year, used oas of the main crops in local area as experimental material, through indoor solution culture, field potting and plant analysis, different oat genotypes were studied on tolerance to saline-alkali stress preliminarily. The main results were as follows:1. Among different oat genotypes, their tolerance to alkali stress were different. To all of these oat genotypes, under 0.3% NaHCO3 stress, the plant height, fresh weight, root volume, chlorophyll content were decreased more or less, the content of MDA and proline in leaf increased. According to the index of relative fresh weight of ground parts, ten oats were classified. The tolerance to alkali stress of ba you yi hao and ba you liu hao were the strongest, the tolerance to alkali stress of ba you san hao and ji zhang you si hao were the weakest, and tolerance of the other oats were at intermediate2. The inhibition of alkali to oats growth was stronger than that of salt. As the concentration of NaCl and NaHCO3 increased, to three oats, the plant height, fresh-dry weight, chlorophyll content and root vitality were decreased more or less under saline-alkali stress, the content of MDA and proline in leaf and relative membrane permeability were increased more or less. Ba you yi hao which had high tolerance to alkali stress appeared the strongest tolerance to saline-alkali stress, ba you san hao which had low tolerance to alkali stress appeared the weakest tolerance to saline-alkali stress, the tolerance to saline-alkali stress of ba you shi hao was at intermediate.3. Under natural conditions, the tolerance to saline-alkali stress of different oat genotypes at seedling stage was different from that at late growth stage. At the seedling stage of field potting, four oats were classified according to the index of relative dry weight of ground parts. The tolerance to alkali stress of ba you yi hao was the strongest, the tolerance to alkali stress of ba you san hao was the weakest, that of ba you shi hao and ba yan si hao were at intermediate. At post-harvest stage, the four oats were classified based on index of relative grain yied. The tolerance to alkali stress of ba you yi hao (naked oat) and ba yan si hao (husk oat) were the strongest, the tolerance of ba you san hao was the weakest, that of ba you shi hao was at intermediate.4. The Na+ content of shoot in the four oats were much higher than that of the leaf and root, and the content of Na+ were higher than the content of K+ in the four oats. With the alkali content of soil increased, K+/Na+ ration of ba you yi hao and bay an si hao in different organs was decreased, but the ration in ba you san hao and ba you shi hao increased at first and then decreased. At high alkali stress, K+/Na+ ration of ba you yi hao was the highest, that of ba you san hao was the lowest. K+/Na+ ration in root of four oats was significant lower than that in stem and leaf.5. With the alkali content of soil increased, the crude protein content of grain increased. soluble sugar content decreased at first and then increased. Soluble sugar content of ba you san hao decreased more, but that of ba you yi hao decreased less.
