| In China, vegetable seeding acreage was close to1.7×107 ha and vegetable residues were producted more than 5.6×108 ton yearly. Most of all was burned or thrown away causing environmental problems. To developed the effective method for vegetable residues reuse, this paper was conducted to determined the chemical constituents of six of vegetable residues, studied the effects of microbe inoculation on vegetable residues compost process and vegetable residues on soil amendment. The chemical constituents of residues from cabbage, pepper, tomato, cucumber, eggplant and celery were determined. The results showed that the moisture content was 73.7791.91 % in vegetable residues. Basic on dry mater of vegetable residues, the content of major elements (N, P and K) were 31.785.7 g·kg-1, the content of microelements (Ca, Mg, Fe, B and Zn) were 16.287.1 g·kg-1, the content of organic mater which mainly build up of cellulose and lignin was 428.4674.3 g·kg-1. The C/N rate of vegetable residues was 7.021.3.BYM1, BYM2, VT and JQ agent was inoculated into the mixture of cabbage, tomato and cucumber residues (1:4:5, w: w: w) respectively. Exogenous microorganism could rise the highest temperature of vegetable residues compost, increase the rate of organic matter decomposition on 014 d, and reduce the harm to plant till 42 d. BYM1 agent had the best effect between four agents on shorting down the interval from beginning to high temperature period, increasing organic acid concentration during 07 d, accumulating humic acid, advancing stability of humic matter, and enhancing GI during vegetable residues compost period.Dry cabbage, tomato and cucumber residues were mixed by 1:4:5 (w: w: w) and managed by in-vessel composting system inoculating with BYM agent. Effect on soil amendment was studied when fertilized the mature vegetable residues compost by dosages of 0.5 %, 1.0 %, 3.0 % and 5.0 % and inoculated with or without earthworm. Amount of vegetable residues had a remarkably correlative relationship with soil WSOC, TOC and CO2 concentration (P<0.0001) which showed that vegetable residues could used to add content of organic matter and number of microbe in soil. After vegetable residues was used, soil pH value, concentration of NH4+-N, NO3--N and total inorganic N raised up at once and then descended, and the efficiency of the changes grew up with vegetable residues amount. It showed that vegetable residues buildup the capability to avoid the huge change on pH value, and was help to nitrogen mix. Fertilization of vegetable residues accelerated growth and procreation of earthworm.According the result, vegetable residues had high nutrition content, and compost process could be used to recycle vegetable residues while the production had good efficiency on soil amendment. |
