Abstract/Summary:
This study was a factorial design with three main factors.A factor was the levels of DDGS in diet(0%,10%and 20%);B factor was the dose rate of xylanase,(0g/t, 150g/t,300g/t and 450g/t),and C factor was the sex of the experimental chicken. Total 1920 1-day-old AA broilers were randomly divided into 24 groups(four replicates per treatment with 20 chickens the replicate). The results showed that1) For starters(0-21d),the average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake (ADFI),Feed/gain ratio(F/G),mortality and body weight were significantly higher for 0%and 10%DDGS groups than the 20%DDGS group(P<0.01).The average weight at 1-day-old,average weight at day 21,ADG and mortality was higher for males than female(P<0.05).The ileal digestibility of protein was higher for 0% DDGS group than for the 10%and 20%groups(P<0.01).The apparent metabolizability of protein, dry matter and energy for 10%DDGS group was higher than for the 0%and 20%groups(P<0.01),and these parameters were higher for 0% DDGS group than for the 20%group(P<0.01).The apparent metabolizability of dry matter and energy were higher for 0%and 10%DDGS groups than for the 20% group(P<0.01).The ileal digestibility of protein was higher for adding xylanase 0 g/t and 150 g/t groups than for the 300 g/t and 450 g/t groups(P<0.01).However,the apparent metabolisable energy was higher for 150 g/t group than 450 g/t group(P<0.05).2) For finishers(22-42d),mortality and the average weight of 21-day-old were higher for 0%and 10%DDGS groups than the 20%group(P<0.01).F/G and the average weight of 21-day-old of male were significantly higher than female(P<0.05).The ileal digestibility of protein, dry matter and energy were higher for 0%and 10% DDGS groups than the 20%group(P<0.01).The apparent metabolisability of energy and protein were higher for 0%and 10%groups than the 20%group(P<0.01).The digestibility of energy was higher for adding xylanase 150 g/t groups than 300 g/t and 450 g/t groups(P<0.01).Over the 42-day growth period,ADG,ADFI,and mortality of broilers were significantly higher for 0%and 10%groups than the 20%group(P<0.01).F/G of 20%group was significantly higher than 0%and 10%groups(P<0.01).ADFI of male was significantly higher than the female(P<0.05).The other factor was not significantly difference(P>0.05).In conclusion, the DDGS can be included in the broiler diet up to 10%,but the performance of broilers was depressed when the level of DDGS in the diet increased to 20%.
