Plant root-knot nematodes are an economically important soil-borne pathogens,which inhabit in soil diffusely,have many kinds of host plants and can result in poor crop performance. those have hitherto been controlled mainly by chemical nematicides,but with an increase in general awareness of the harmful effects of chemical ones and the changing public attitude towards environmental pollution,several effective nematicides are losing their popularity among farmers for protecting crops from nematode infestations.Binary mixture of insecticides may broaden the target range of insecticides,decrease the application rate of insecticides and postpone the development of insect resistance.This study aimed to provide scientific basis of the mixture of BB (EC and W?P) and abamectin (EC) in the Meloidogyne control based on the results of laboratory and field experiments.(1)Sun's method was used to determine the co-toxicity coefficient (CTC) of binary mixture of BB (EC and W?P)and abamectin to the Meloidogyne. The results showed that the CTC of this compound at 4 different ratios were all over 100,which showed the strongest toxicity to J2.The CTC of BA2 (EC) was 152.93 and the LC50 value was 1384.7mg/L. The CTC of BA2 (W?P) was 156.53 and the LC50 value was 1348.4mg/L.The results of BA2 toxicity measurement to J2 and hatching showed that the control rates of hatching of different treatments were above 50% at 9d and the control rates of hatching of diluted 200 and 400 times were over 70%.The revised mortality J2 of diluted 200 and 400 times(EC and W?P) were above 55% after 48h.The effect of inhibition was better than the J2.(2)Using orthogonal test, the result of the different ways of applying BA2 in field was applying 2 times at field planting with diluted 400 times.The results of pot experiment showed that control effects of BA2 diluted 200 and 400 times were above 65%,but the control effects of diluted 600 and 800 times were lower. The control effects of diluted 400 times were over 60% in field efficacy trials.The yield used BA2 increased 14.05%and 10.67% compared with control.We suggest that the applying concentration in the field of the compound should be diluted 400 times. (3)Used BA2,it was found that organic acid of tomato significantly increased; soluble sugar decreased significantly;sugar acid ratio was lower than other and lycopene was higher than other.Used BA2,quality of succeeding vegetables didn't changed.(4) Used BA2,the germination,germination energy and vigor index of tomato seed was improved very significant.
