The pulsed fogger is a kind of widely used and effective plant protection machinery. Pesticide nozzle, which is one of the major components of the fogger, affects directly the performance of the fogger and the atomization effect. Therefore, it is necessary to study the droplet distribution affected by the parameters of the pulsed fogger nozzleThis paper focuses on the droplet distribution affected by the pesticide nozzle parameters (pesticide nozzle installation position, aperture diameter of the pesticide nozzle). Five nozzles with different diameters and six different installation positions of the nozzle are designed. With the same test conditions and measurement system, the combined atomization test has been carried out. Referring to the droplet measurement methods at home and abroad,the Winner 312 industrial laser particle size analyzer for spraying and Winner 211 laser particle size analysis expert system are selected to measure the size and distribution of droplet.As shown by the result, the atomization effect is directly affected by the aperture diameters and the installation positions of the pesticide nozzles. In the different installation positions, the greater the aperture diameter of the nozzle is, the smaller the diameter of the droplet is and more uniform the droplet distribution is.According to the measured tube's axis temperatures of the nozzles'installation positions, the droplet diameter affected by the tube's axis temperatures is preliminary analyzed. As shown by the research result, the higher the temperature is, namely that the nozzle more next to the combustion chamber, the smaller the droplet diameter is and the better the atomization effect is.In this paper, the optimum nozzle parameters of the pulsed fogger are determined: aperture diameter of nozzle is 1.8mm, the distance between the installation position of the nozzle and the exhaust-tube outlet is 250mm.In this paper, designing and experimental study are adopted and the research result is beneficial for the further study.
