This paper presents the estimates of varimates components and hertability for 31 traits of Pinan cattle in Xiye country Nanyang city of Henan province using animal models by Restricted Maximum Likelihood method and Best Linear Unbiased Prediction in Animal models. Evaluation of the effect of the non-heritable factors on the growth traits of Pinan Cattle in different growth stages ,the genetic correlation and phenotypic correlation of the traits of selection were analyzed.The results showed that most traits of the body weight and body measurements were influenced significantly (p<0.05 or p<0.01) by sex, year of birth, season of birth, dress, while the interactions among those factors have no significant effect on most of the traits.Growth curve of Pinan cattle were fitted with Logistic model.It was showed that Logistic model could exactly describe the growth regulations of Pinan cattle(R2≥0.9999,P<0.0001).From the equation ,the maximum body weight of Pinan cattle increased generation by generation.It is show that breeding effects is very good.Inflection point in all generations were always about the first ten months.The heritability estimates of birth weight (6month, 12month, 18month, 24month, adult) were 0.29, 0.31, 0.27, 0.31, 0.35, 0.29; high of withers traits (6month, 12month, 18month, 24month, adult) were 0.36, 0.36, 0.43, 0.35, 0.40; chest girth traits (6month, 12month, 18month, 24month, adult) were 0.46, 0.35, 0.35, 0.37, 0.39; wide of ischium traits (6month, 12month, 18month, 24month, adult) were 0.36, 0.43, 0.44, 0.33, 0.42; shank circum traits (6month, 2month, 18month, 24month, adult) were 0.49, 0.44, 0.32, 0.43, 0.44; The results showed that most traits belong high heritability.The genetic correlation and phenotypic correlation between the weight traits and body measurement traits were further analyzed, the results showed that the correlations among the weight traits of Pinan Cattle in different growth stages were moderate or more and positive.
