Construction Of Consultation And Diagnosis Expert System Of Rise Disease And Pest

This thesis is one part of the subprogram titled as "Research and applications of the intelligent agricultural advisory services system based on the farmers mail" (2008C33008).After studied the knowledge of rice diseases and insect pests in-depth, the author use modern information technology to develop an consulting and diagnostic system, it can be update in the future in the background of computer maintenance.A more flexible Browse / Web Server / Database structure was used in this system, the Web server is Apache Tomcat, Java and JSP can be used to develop the program. People can connect this system through internet, so its application range was expanded. The PostgreSQL database was used to organize the knowledge base, so, knowledge base and inference engine was independent, finally increase the scalability and simplify the maintenance of the system.After being systematically extracted and reasonably arranged, the system use the hybrid reasoning and uncertainty reasoning to solve the complexity and non-precision of knowledge in the field of agriculture. A diagnostic mechanisms based on character was realized in this system. Through the analysis of various factors on the occurrence and development impact of pests and diseases, and learned from various agricultural expert systems, the paper identified the major factor in the diagnosis of rice diseases and insect pests. The diagnostic factor of disease is the symptoms on the different parts of rice (roots, stems, leaves, ear) and integrated plant symptoms, the major factor in the diagnosis of pest is the individual character (egg, larva, pupa, adult) and damage characteristics.The system effectively combined the computer technology with agricultural expertise, and integrated the browsing, inquiring and diagnosing of pests and diseases into a comprehensive body, it is easy to operate. Finally, further research and development of the system are proposed.
