Bioinformatics is the interdisciplinary of biology, applied mathematics and computer science. Genome Informatics is one of the important research branches of Bioinformatics which has important significance and the widespread application value. Genome Informatics contains sequencing, identifying and finding new genetic and so on. In support of computing, genome information collection, arrangement, storage, management and application developed quickly in recent years.MiRNA is a kind of small molecules RNA; it has strong effect on the growing of animals and plants. There are various MiRNA data in lots of MiRNA databases. We co-operate fully with the research of our biological laboratories, looking for MiRNA on account of critical region of rice. We combine calculation results with biotic experiment. Based on this, through the analysis and discussion of the results, we try to find the function and the relationship of MiRNA.On the basis of literatures, this paper carried out the following research work:1.Building MiRNA database based on MiRNA provided by the biological laboratories and combining the data of public databases, expand the scale of data, set the stage for the follow-up research work.2.Based on the analysis of N-W and S-W sequence alignment algorithm which are widely used, we add an appraisal system into the KMP algorithm. Through the improving of algorithm on account of critical region of rice we get tons of information of MiRNA. Then we study the information with gene chip. This method can well meet the requirements, and comparison of high efficiency and pertinence.3.Developed AFLP biotechnology simulation software. AFLP is widely used in biological research, but there are many shortcomings. According to the needs of our biological laboratory. We study AFLP technology and simulate it on computer. The software is simple to operation with high speed, the ability to undertake large data calculation and good display effect; it has been well used in the biological laboratories.
