Planting depth of soybean and corn precise planter is one of the strictly required indicators in the sowing process, which has great impact on production. Planting depth is the thickness of soil layer above seeds implanted in the earth. It is clear when the ground is uneven up and down, the soil layer above planted seeds is also diverse even if the seeds are the same depth level. Therefore, to maintain a consistent planting depth, we must control the drill opener of each seeding unit, so that they are able to float with the ground ups and downs, so-called profiling, to keep buried depth in line. At present, numerous planters make use of mechanical profiling devices, and their profiling accuracy is relatively lower and less able to control the planting depth very well.So an electro-hydraulic automatic control profiling system of precision planter has been researched and developed in my research topic. The automatic control system is particularly suitable for large-scale joint precision planter because its operating radial width is larger. When the planter is operating in the hilly areas, mechanical sub-profiling system can not precisely control the depth of planting, which leads to appear inconsistent with the depth of sowing, and seriously affects the production of soybean and corn. In the thesis profiling institutions of traditional planter have been innovated. we have researched and developed an electro-hydraulic joint and automatic profiling control system, which can automatically control planting depth of soybean and corn accurately. Each automatic control system that controls seeding depth of seeding monomer is independent, and can accurately control planting depth of planter seeding monomer automatically. Electro-hydraulic profiling system can provide higher accuracy of profiling in the copying motion, make power machine maintain steady load at the same time, and overcome the copying distortion on account of moving ahead or lag of time in the overall profiling or combination profiling of before and after components. If it is used in precision planting machine, the profiling system can replace the traditional mechanism of resistance induction, more sensitively induce on the change of ground up and down, and greatly enhance the control accuracy of planting depth.The electro-hydraulic automatic profiling system consists of profiling sensors, electro-hydraulic profiling controller, hydraulic solenoid valve, hydraulic cylinder, accessories and so on. When planter is sowing, the profiling sensor senses the change on the ground up and down, detects the real-time changing signal and converts it into current signal. Through the electro-hydraulic profiling controller meanwhile, the current signal is amplified and converted into voltage signal to drive hydraulic solenoid valve, which controls the flow direction of hydraulic fluid at the same time. Hydraulic cylinder controls planting trenching device which controls the depth of seeding with the hydraulic fluid flowing quickly. The depth of seeding operation can be adjusted timely to improve the control precision of planting depth.
