The found of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang has great significance in studying the origin and development of Magnoliaceae and even angiosperms. Its flowers are brightly colored and trees are beautifully. It has high exploitation and utilization value on using as landscape trees. This paper main study on the key technology of seedlings to expand the scope of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang cultivation and promote the development and utilization of it.Study includes as follows:(1) Through different agentia treatment to find the suitable peregrination methods on seeds of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang. (2) Set different temperature and light conditions to find more suitable temperature and light on seeds of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang. (3) Discover the best sowing time and planting density to enhancing seedling germination. (4) Study on growth rules of one-year seedlings and fitting the growth equation. (5) Through different water and fertilizer treatment to get the best quantity of irrigation and fertilization.The results show as follows:sterilized with 0.3% K2MnO4, water temperature 50℃and water soak 12h help improve the germination rate of seeds. it is shortest that soak in 50 mg/L GA3 on the average germination time about 18.7d. the seed germination rate is high to 22% on 15-25℃temperature treatments, and the results show that the seeds of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang are more suitable for germination on bright conditions then dark. The cultivation have higher germination rate in mid-April on 5cm×5cm planting density about 35.9%,80% of relative soil water content is more suitable for the growth of Magnolia wufengensis L. Y. Ma et L. R. Wang than low soil water. Fertilization 3.2g nitrogen in one plant annual can meet it growth, while fertilization 6.4g nitrogen in one plant annual have significant role in promoting growth on the main root length and lateral root number of gradeⅠ.Fertilization 3.2g phosphorus in one plant annual have significantly increased over the other two treatment on root length, I grade lateral root number and biomass. Less potassium can meet its growth.
