In order to clarify the situation of surplus and deficiency of mineral elements in Shanbei White Cashmere Goats and to supply reasonably, the trace elements of 30 soil samples from the Yulin region where Shanbei white Cashmere Goats were kept in and 30 blood sample from Shanbei White Cashmere Goats were determined. A total of 268 pregnancy Cashmere ewes were randomly divided into two treatment groups (group 1 and group 2 )and a control group. Does in group 1 were injected with Sodium selenite vitamin E injection 4 ml during Early Pregnancy. Does in group 2 were injected with Sodium selenite vitamin E injection 4 ml during Early Pregnancy and Late-Pregnancy respectively. Does in control group were not injected with anything. The kids from Control group were randomly divided into two treatment groups (group 1 and group 2 )and a control group. The kids in group 1 were in injected with Sodium selenite vitamin E injection 1 ml at 10~15 day old. The kids in group 1 were injected with the same injection 1 ml at 10~15 day and 2ml at 2 month old respectively. The results were as followed:1.The content of the effective state iron and copper in the soil from the areas where Shanbei white Cashmere Goats were kept in were 2.90±1.29 and 0.47±0.34 mg/kg respectively, they were a medium level according to the grading standards for soil mineral element content. The effective state zinc content of soil was 0.76±0.64, mg/kg , It was a lower level. The effective state manganese content was 3.17±1.70 mg/kg, that was at state of lack. The total selenium in soil was 0.069±0.022 mg/kg, this was below the deficiency threshold. Based on the above results, it could be concluded that there were serious lack on manganese and selenium in soil of the areas where Shanbei white Cashmere Goats were kept in.2. The level of blood iron of Shanbei white Cashmere Goats was 368.7±59.56 mg/L, it was very significantly higher than normal reference values. The level of blood copper was 1.14±0.19 mg/L, that was a medium value. The level of zinc and selenium were respectively 2.51±0.95 and 0.040±0.015 mg/L, they were significantly lower than normal reference values. The blood manganese element could not be detected due to very lower level. Goats should be added zinc, manganese and selenium elements.3. The lambing rate could be increased by 5.62% after pregnancy Cashmere ewes were injected with Sodium selenite vitamin E injection 4 ml during Early Pregnancy and Late-Pregnancy respectively. The kid weaning survival rate could be increased by 24.24% after they were injected with Sodium selenite vitamin E injection 1 ml at 10~15 day and 2ml at 2 month old respectively.
