Population dynamics and their regulation mechanisms were the core of honeybee population ecology, which were significant to enrich honeybee ecology and forecast population growth trend. Currently the environmental factors that affecting the population dynamics had not been in-depth studied. The identification of the female bees in sex ratio was still controversial. In this paper, the population dynamics of Apis cerana cerana in Fuzhou was studied. We focused on the age structure and natality. Environmental and cluster temperatures as well as worker bees foraging intensity were observed continuously. The influence of these factors on population dynamics were analysised deeply. Honeybee sex ratio was researched in Guangze area within the Wuyi-mountain Nature Reserve of Fujian during swarming season, including the sealed broods ratio of drone and queen's, as well as the adults ratio of drone and virgin's. The effect of ambient temperature on sex ratio was analysised. The results were as follows.(1) Individual population dynamics of A. c. cerana totally emerged as seasonal change in Fuzhou. Climate and pollen were the major environmental factors. The age structure of population was growth-type in spring and autumn as well as in late-nectar flow. The age structure of population was recession-type in mid-nectar flow and winter. The age structure of population was stable-type in summer and late autumn.(2) The natality of individual population dynamics of A. c. cerana was closely related to queen, nectar and pollen resources in Fuzhou. The new queen had a high fecundity during nectar and pollen-rich season. The peak number was 490 in March 18 and 455 in June 18. The lowest number was 225 and 245 in middle nectar flow stage and winter.(3) The number crest-time of sexually mature drones was coincided with that of virgin queens. The sealed broods and adults'ratio of drone and queen was 201.2 and 523.2 respectively. In spring, the ambient temperature was unstable with great temperature difference. The cluster edge temperature was the main factor affecting the numbers of the drone and queen sealed broods.
