The content of EGCG not only effect the taste of tea ,but also it is used in medical treatment for its antioxidant, such as the cancer and other diseases. At present, we could not get EGCG from chemical synthesis in addition to extracting from tea. The tea which contains high EGCG have a widely welcome, and have good market. But currently there is few studies about EGCG of tea from home to abroad, and the studies mostly take attention to the effect of medical treatment, or the way of extracting. There is few studies about the filer of high EGCG of tea, and lack of studies about the genetics and breeding of high EGCG of tea. The study analysis the content of EGCG of 83 kinds of tea ,which picked from shaan xi province , by the way of high performance liquid chromatography. We also analysis the effect of the assortment,the season,the position of tree and the storage way in EGCG, and selected the assortment of tea with high EGCG. We analysis the 28 assortment of tea with high EGCG by seven indexes of physiological and biochemical . The results are as follows:1 The effect of different assortments,season,position of tree,storage way and different areas in the content of EGCG notably.The difference of EGCG content is between different kinds of tea notably. The highest is 5.96 times more than the least. The content of EGCG about some kinds of tea have significant difference.In all, the way of changes about shoots in most of assortment of tea is summer shoots>spring shoots>autumn shoots. But the way of changes about leaves in most of assortment of tea is summer shoots> autumn shoots > spring shootsDuring the storage the content of EGCG decreased. Compared with the early storage, the content of EGCG which storage one month,three month and six month reduced 18.03%,45.65% and 58.33%. The content of EGCG in the early three months of storage have a wide reduce.The way of the content of EGCG about most of assortments is single bud> one bud and one leaf > one bud and two leaf >leafThe way of changes about six main plant assortments in five different areas is Zhen Ba >Zi Yang>Nan Zhen>Xi Xiang > Ning Qiang. But there are little assortments changes difference, is Ning Qiang>Zhen Ba >Xi Xiang >Nan Zhen >Zi Yang.We selected 28 kinds of tea which content high EGCE by the way of cluster analysis from 83 kinds of tea.2 Analysis the indexes of physiological and biochemical of 28 kinds of tea which selected, we find that there is one strain have high TP, which is Qian Mei 601. There are 11 strains have high caffeine.There are 4 strain have high Amino acids,In order to apply the reference of high TP,high caffeine ,high Amino acids. Seven tea cultivars with high- content EGCG and excellent quality are chosen preliminarily.
