Tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) is one of the most important vegetable in the world, its fruit is nutritious and delicious, and popular amony many countries. In recent years, the quality development and simulatiom model of fruit is becoming more concerned project. It is important meaning for crop cultivation and the optimization management of environment, thereby improving crop quality and environmental benefits. In this research,JinPeng and FenGuan, two of the dominating cultivated tomato varieties in Guanzhong were used as experimental materials. Through different stubble arrangements and different facilities experiments, variation characteristic of each fruit quality indicator was systematic studied of each sequece during tomato fruit growth and development cultivated in spring and autumn cultivation. At the same time, different simulation equations were established for each quality indicator after the data fitting analysis between each fruit quality indicator's variation characteristic and the change of environmental factors. Then, simulation equations were verifed by datas which were independent of modeling datas. Specific conclusions were as follows:(1) Change laws were consistent of each quality indicator between different sequences of tomato fruit during friut growth and development, neither with different stubble arrangements nor with different facilities. There were only differences in specific numerical.Fruit shape index, soluble protein content and tannin content values were gradually decreased in the whole development process. And showed that in mature-green stage values decreased more rapidly. After a slow decrease in turning stage, the values tended to be stable in red ripe stage. Fruit hardness, vitamin C content and organic acid content values were increased and then decreased. The values of hardness and organic acid content were decreased rapidly during the turning and red ripe stage. The values of vitamin C content were decreased slowly during red ripe stage because of the respiration consumption. The values of total soluble sugar content and reducing sugar content increased during the whole fruit development stage, and both showed that increased rapidly after turning stage. It proved that the stage after turning is critical for sugar accumulation. (2) Through partial correlation analysis, the results showed: the air temperature and solar radiation were the most important environmental factors within air temperature, solar radiation, air humidity, soil temperature and humidity in the facility that affected the formation of tomato fruit quality.(3) With the change of accumulated TEP (Accumulated Production of Thermal Effectiveness and PAR) in developing fruit, there were different functional relations between values of quality indicators and TEP. Among them, the changing trend of fruit shape index values and tannin content values accorded with Johnson Schumacher model function; the changing trend of ftuit hardness values and organic acid content values accorded with least squares polynomial function; the changing trend of soluble protein content values accorded with exponential function; the changing trend of soluble sugar content values accorded with Logistic function; the changing trend of soluble sugar content values accorded with progressive regression model function; the changing trend of vitamin C content values accorded with exponential function before the value reached its maximum, then accorded with negative exponential function.(4) The results of compared with each quality indicator model by independent experimental data showed: the coefficient of determination R2, between simulated values and measured values of fruit shape index, fruit hardness, soluble protein content, soluble sugar content, reducing sugar content, organic acid content and tannin content, were always more than 0.85. The coincident degree was good, and the root mean square errors (RMSE) were general smaller. But the simulation models for vitamin C content values were not good enough of the first sequence and the third sequence fruit. The values of RMSE were a little bigger, so need a further study to improve the model parameters.
