The thesis chosed the ourselves development of Activity Flour of Garlic Bacterium Substence (abbreviate,GBS),which was added different dose of GBS to thediet of Cherry Valley Ducks, researching the effects on growth performance, slaughter parameters, metabolism of endogenous hormone, serum index, immune anti-oxidation performance of Cherry Valley Ducks. It is a theoretical foundation andapplied reference for investing and developing functional physiologic adjustment additive. In order to study the effects of various amounts of GBS addition on growth performance of Cherry Valley Ducks, 210 one-day-old healthy Cherry Valley Ducks were allocated randomly to five groups ,including control group and treatment group 1, 2 ,3.and 4. Males and females were identified and housed separately in six wire cages per group, with 9 birds in each cage (three cages male and three cages female), Each bird was numbered and weighed. Control group were given basal diets supplemented with antibiotics(adding 0.012mg norfloxacin/Kg compound feed from one to fifteen-day-old, adding 0.012mg ciprofloxacin /Kg compound feed from sixteen to sixty-day-old), treatment group was respectively given the basal diets with 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00 gGBS/Kg compound feed, which the test lasted 60 days. Results showed that: Compared with control group, (1) Survival rate: no significant difference in each group.(2) Performance: The feed intakes of from 1 to 45-day-old ducks in treatment group 1,2,3,4 increased respectively by 1.89%(P>0.05),2.76%(P<0.05),1.21%(P>0.05),0.64%(P>0.05); the body weight gain of ducks increased respectively by 3.36%(P<0.05),4.96%(P<0.01),5.87%(P<0.01),5.95%(P<0.01);the feed conversion ratio of ducks decreased respectively by2.16% (P>0.05), 2.75%(P>0.05), 4.34% (P<0.0 1), 4.77%(P<0.01); The feed intakes of from 45 to 60-day-old ducks in treatment group 1,2,3and4 increased respectively by 15.86%(P<0.05),17.55%(P<0.05),28.91%(P<0.001),14.61%(P<0.05);the body weight gain increased respectively by 12.16%(P>0.05),36.08%(P<0.01),25.50%(P<0.05),3.92%(P>0.05);the feed conversion ratio decreased respectively by 11.17%(P>0.05),22.36%(P>0.05),5.81%(P>0.05),.82%(P>0.05).; The feed intakes of from 1 to 60 day ducks in treatment group 1, 2 ,3and 4 increased respectively by 3.35%((P<0.05),4.37%(P<0.01),4.23% (P<0.01),2.38%(P<0.05); the body growth increased of ducks respectively by 5.27%(P<0.05),8.74%(P<0.01),8.64%(P<0.01),6.85% (P<0.01);the feed conversion ratio of ducks decreased respectively by 1.81%(P>0.05),4.02%((P<0.05),3.98%(P<0.05),4.20% (P<0.05).(3) Slaughter parameters on 60 days: Dressing percentage in treatment group1,2,3and4 increased by 1.71%(P<0.05),2.25%(P<0.01),2.35% (P<0.01),1.71%((P<0.05);percentage of eviscerated yield increased by 1.51%(P<0.05),2.72%(P<0.01),1.03%(P>0.05),0.94% (P>0.05); percentage of half eviscerated yield increased by 1.15%(P>0.05),1.93%(P<0.01),3.13%(P<0.001),1.44% (P<0.05); percentage of gastero-fat decreased by 24.51%(P<0.01),41.79%(P<0.001),36.43%(P<0.001),27.68% (P<0.01).(4) Pectoral muscle nutrient content:Crude protein contents of brisket in treatment group 2,3,4 increased by 4.40%(P>0.05),5.00%(P<0.05),1.12%(P>0.05); Crude fat contents of brisket in treatment group1,2,3and 4 decreased by 11.61%(P>0.05),12.26%(P>0.05),20.49%(P<0.05),14.53%(P>0.05); water contents of brisket in group1,2,3and 4 increased by 0.35%(P>0.05),0.87%(P>0.05),1.18%(P>0.05),0.39%(P>0.05).(5) hormone metabolism: the total average levels of blood suga in treatment group 1,2,3,4 decreased respectively by7.79%(P>0.05),11.29%(P<0.05),13.75% (P<0.01),10.88% (P<0.05);the total average level of Ins.increased respectively by 30.88%(P<0.05),27.08%(P<0.01),41.59%(P<0.001),27.51% (P<0.05); The dynamic curve of Ins.: the level of Ins.control group step up slightly in afterfood,to dropped minimum in 3h after food intake, but the level of Ins.every treatment group increased obviously in 3h after food intake, which treatment group 2,3 with signific ant differences, and can maintain at high levels.Blood glucose levels for control increased constantly in 3h after food intake, treatment group increased in 1h after food intake and after 1h presents significant decline, and always maintain atlower levels. leves of T3 in treatment group 1,2,3,4 increased respectively by 29.50% (P<0.05),30.76% (P<0.05),3.79%(P>0.05),3.80%(P>0.05); leves of T4 increased respectively by 31.96%(P<0.01),21.70%(P<0.05),13.63%(P>0.05),11.32%(P>0.05); leves of Glu. decreased respectively by 17.61%(P>0.05),20.11% (P<0.05),27.83%(P<0.01),16.65%(P>0.05).(6) Serum Biochemical Indices: the contents of Serum TP increased respectively by 7.28%(P>0.05),11.68%(P>0.05),13.74%(P<0.05),7.97(P>0.05); the contents of Serum AL increased respectively by 3.62%(P>0.05),13.86%(P<0.05),13.25(P>0.05),7.23%(P>0.05); the contents of SerumCH decreased respectively by 5.97%(P>0.05),10.66%(P>0.05),17.48%(P<0.05),4.69%(P>0.05), leves of Serum Ca increased respectively by 1.38%(P>0.05),7.80%(P>0.05),2.65%(P>0.05),1.70%(P>0.05); leves of Serum P increased respectively by 19.46%(P>0.05),21.32%(P>0.05),41.51%(P<0.01),30.59%(P<0.05).(7) Immune Performance: the total average levels of ND antibody titer in treatment group 2,3,4increased respectively by 8.06%(P<0.05),13.46%(P<0.0 01),12.97%(P<0.01); The levels of NDV antibody titer more than control group After the immune 7-42 days, especially in the test group 3,4 significantly increased and peak in 28 days after the immune and decreased 35 days after the immune, but the treatment group can significantly delay the descendent speed of ND antibody titer, and make its maintain at high levels.(8) antioxidation: contents of SOD in treatment group 1,2,3,4 increased respectively by 10.65%(P>0.05),21.30%(P<0.05),38.58%(P<0.00),136.42%(P<0.001); contents of MDA in treatment group 1,2,3,4 decreased respectively by 1.40%(P>0.05),14.70%(P<0.05),13.30%(P<0.05),10.49%(P>0.05).
