In Salmonella ,Salmonella choleraesuis is a major serotype caused salmonellosis frpm swine. Piglet paratyphoid caused by Salmonella choleraesuis is characterized by acute septicemia, chronic necrotizing enterocolitis and intractable diarrhea in clinic. It can cause considerable weaned piglets pathogenesis. The mortality rate is relatively high when weaned piglets concurrently or secondarily infect other diseases or haven't got treatment promptly. It caused pigs industry huge financial losses and seriously hinder the healthy development of the culture industry. In recent years, there is a clear upward trend in Salmonellosis outbreak. Effective prevention and treatment have been the important problems that scale pig production must solve.Safe and effective vaccine products are the important means that prevent and control salmonella infection in pigs.In the 20th century, C500 live vaccine developed by our country achieve good results on the market, but can't avoid the inherent defect of the live vaccine. So, Relatively virulent strain 080106# isolated in clinic was selected as vaccine candidate for the development of Salmonella choleraesuis Al(OH)3-assistant inactivated vaccine. the study focused on the isolation and identification on Salmonella choleraesuis and development of Salmonella choleraesuis Al(OH)3- adjuvant inactivated vaccine. The results were summarized as follows:1. 8 strains of Salmonella choleraesuis were isolated from clinical tissue samples by biolog microbial identification system,microscopic test,biochemical tests,serological test and toxicological test. Each isolated bacterial strains was tested to probe its sensibility to antibiotic.2. Growth curve of the bacterial strain was established by research and analysis on growth characteristics of vaccine strain 080106# . Meanwhile, the relationship between the OD600 value of per unit volume of solution and the number of bacteria was established by research on the OD600 value of per unit volume of broth corresponding to the number of living bacteria. These data laid the foundations for our further research and development on Salmonella choleraesuis inactivated vaccine.3. From eight strains Salmonella choleraesuis, bacterial strain 080106# was elected as vaccine strain, which was characterized by high virulence and good immunogenicity.then,Selecting aluminum hydroxide gum as vaccine adjuvant develop Salmonella choleraesuis Al(OH)3- adjuvant inactivated vaccine. Repeated trial and research on Vaccine technology were carried out to achieve the best state in vaccine effectiveness and vaccine safety.Comparing the vaccine effectiveness of Salmonella choleraesuis Al(OH)3- adjuvant inactivated vaccine and the vaccine effectiveness of C500 live vaccine,the results show that Salmonella choleraesuis Al(OH)3- adjuvant inactivated vaccine developed by our laboratory can be fully protected to avoid virulent Salmonella choleraesuis. The inactivated vaccine has significant advantages on vaccine effectiveness and pig production performance, contrasting inactivated vaccine with C500 live vaccine .
